Is it bad that now Planes will be able to drop bombs all over place?

The new update is going to be crap and another huge waste of GTA cash. It will cost you millions to buy an air hanger, millions to buy the new aircraft, millions to upgrade the aircraft until they are any good, and then they will be easy to shoot down with rockets and explosive ammo, then you will only be able to make between 400k and 1 million back with the smuggerls run business not even clawing back 1% of the money you spent on it. Each new update is virtually the same as the last and each gets used less and less.

Apparently the bombs are just an extra weapons upgrade (like the Proximity Mine with Gunrunning vehicles) and are able to be used with several aircraft, but it still shouldn't be too much of a concern for the weaponry we have available today.

Both the Hydra and the Lazer are just fine the way they are, but R* will cater to these assholes because they despite players sourcing I/E cars and running guns around, they want us to fail on every corner with that sh*t.

And not only this, but most of CEO/Biker/Gun running activities have us players driving slow ass vehicles on the ground, completely open to air strikes coming from everywhere.

 

The explosive ammo, as much sh*t it gets from here, IS our last line of defense against these aircrafts.

 

If R* actually cared about making a properly balanced game that is not focused on making you fail, we wouldn't even need the explosive ammo on our sniper rifles, because explosive ammo of any kind wouldn't be a thing in this game.

Normally I'm like hands up in the air, woah, we don't need any further military onslaught in GTA online, but strangely enough I'm quite pumped about this update!

 

We've had tanks and fighter jets since day one, but never the chance to store or customize them, and now we're getting gorgeous retro aircraft like the MIG-15, so bring it on... carpet bombs and all. I don't care. I'm going down in flames

 

...and I appreciate what some people are saying about Rockstar wanting us fail and steer us ever nearer to shark-card territory, but when there's such stupendous 2x bonus events like the Import/Export event this week, and 2x arms deals last week, you can't really complain about not making in-game money. Grind your ass off this week, and next week will be a whole lot simpler.

I'm sure homing launchers and the like will be able to catch up with the planes that are dropping these bombs anyway. Nothing to worry about. Nothing to see here. Don't complain. Just ... Shhhh, back to sleep.

 

We're totally not going to cause WWIII with this stuff.

This is what I'm worried about... that these planes will just be Savages 2.0... piss weak armour.

 

Infact, Like with everything, Jets would be the biggest threat tbh... although i do love the idea that Jet trolling will actually have a new greater purpose in keeping Los Santos skies clean of naughty smugglers!

One option would be to start with x sets of bombs, and in order to refill, the plane would have to make touchdown on the ground with its wheels.

To be fair, I'm actually excited to see how my fellow GTA gamers will abuse planes dropping bombs and what kind of creative trolling they'll come up with.

 

I want to see people come out of the clothing store and get bombs dropped on their head & people flying wayyyyyy high up in the sky and dropping bombs on everyones heads.

 

& of course, dropping bombs on peoples heads, and going straight into passive mode until said bombs are restocked, then going off radar, flying low and doing it all over again.
