Got on today to grind some vehicle cargo today for the upcoming Smuggler Update and all my Standard Range cars disappeared and the ones that remained were listed as "Top Range"

Anyone else have this bug?

Gonna be a pain in the ass fixing my 10/10/12

Because of the double cash, the cars have increased value, which brings them up a range. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't believe that affects their range. That would mess up the whole system

it does affect their range.there's no logic behind it.but it does.a sabre went to mid range.standard->Mid,Mid->Top.

If it does, that's odd as it was fine the last time they had a 25% bonus

Yes, it's a bug. But the payouts are old.

Can report this as well. I find it lame how Rockstar didn't address such a trivial thing...

All of my standard range cars are labeled mid range and all of my mid range labeled top range, sell prices unchanged. It's annoying and I don't know how to fix it because even when I fetch a new car it's automatically labelled incorrectly.

Not sure if it's just me... but when behind the computer in my vehichle warehouse, I wanted to sell my only-high-end vehicle. But when I selected

'Top range' as filter, suddenly all cars that where 'mid range' before the 2x $RP on IandE event are now classed as 'top range'.

- Then I selected 'mid range' to see wich are now mid ? Well... all cars wich where previously 'low range' of course !

And when I selected 'low range' it showed no cars :/

So...

Top range = top range;

Mid range = top range;

Low range = [];

? LoL

Is it just me or because R* uses something like a stupid non-working script to determine "range" ?

(The code below is made up )

IF value(car) > $25.000     range='top';ELSEIF value(car) == $25.000    range='mid';ELSEIF value(car) < $25.000    range='low';END
-with the 2x $$RP week no car is worth less then 25k :lol:

(Top end is worth 80k, mid 25k and low 15k)

It's UI bug, doesn't affect the gameplay at all.

	iVar3 = 0;	if (iVar0 >= 40000)	{		iVar3 = 2;	}	else if (iVar0 >= 25000)	{		iVar3 = 1;	}

This is where the issue is caused, they used scripted values instead of tuneables.

Pretty sure it's fixed with the next update coming this Tuesday.

I was just coming to post this.

My standards become mids when I log into the shop's computer

My mids become top ranges. And I believe I'm getting the higher payment too!

For instance I'm look at my Tropos Rally which was listed at mid-range when I stole it. It's now listed at top range.

When I select it to export, it gives me these options:

$50k - no mod cost

$87,500 - $12,500 mod cost

$125,000 - $25k mod cost.

I chose the last option and I got that payment for delivering it.

Everything's doubled - true Tops pay $200k against $40k mods.

FrugalDangerMan

It's because the cars sell for 100k+. 100k = Top Range and it's happening because of lazy programming for the last update.

It will be "fixed" tomorrow when the promo ends and prices reset to normal.

I think that script uses values on prpose to hinder players who farm top range cars. I'm not expecting it to get fixed, I think they added that script to confuse the loot table so we don't always get top range cars even if we have plenty of mid & low range stored in our vehicle warehouse.
