Tell me what $100 of real life money gets you in GTA Online, and let me know if its better than buying 2 new games instead.

Buys me the precious time I would otherwise have to spend grinding. Which is priceless.

Happy to help.

Nowadays 8mil won't get you far. Enough to set up a business, an office and a couple of cars.

Assuming you want to get the most of $8,000,000:

-High end apartment on Alta Street($200,000);

-Maze Bank West office($1,000,000);

-Cheapest, large crate warehouse($1,990,000);

-Cheapest vehicle warehouse($1,500,000);

-Cheapest bunker($1,150,000)

-Buzzard attack helicopter($1,750,000).

Total spent: $7,590,900

Remaining: $409,100 which you can spend on whatever you like, I recommend getting a free Elegy RH8 and tune it up, then spend the rest on weapons.

And no, no way in hell that is better value for money spent than buying 2 other games.

16 - 20 hours of grrrrrind

I'd rather face 20 hours of grinding in this game than paying $100 on fake money that I could use for something much more productive in real life.

This literally just reminded when I was considering getting one back on PS3. Decided to help a friend with his motorcycle so I offered to buy the part for him. Two days later it f*cking breaks :lol:

The soul crushing regret and embarrassment when you realized you have spent the amount of 2 games on an apartment and some money sinks in a game that you also paid for.

  • Buy one on sale (up to 50% off)
  • WAIT with the code until Rockstar offers a bonus on them (50% or more)

But a straight $100USD for $8,000,000GTA hasn't made sense (in the game's own economy) since early 2014.

I make it back in just over an hour of real work, and I can spend the time actually doing something more productive or fun than endless grind repetition. So I don't feel particularly embarrassed about it at all to be honest on the odd time I have bought one for me or for either of my two lads.

For that price you could get...

3 cases of beer

1/2 Oz of kush

1 hooker for 30 mins

1 crackhead hooker for a week

1 three hour long taxi ride

4 lapdances for 10 mins each

82 Twinkies

8 BigMac trios

Or a partridge in a pear tree (pear tree not included)

Any of those would help you enjoy the game much more than $8mil more fake money imo... but I wouldn't get anymore free updates so I say bite

Megalodon??? At tis period???

Maze bank west office

Smallest vehicle warehouse

Bunker at chumash full upgrade

MOC (optional if u just want it for production)

Cargobob

If MOC isnt in ur list, perhaps get the largest warehouse with it so its easier to park ur cargobob

Get a carbonazze if you want an "armour" car

Buying the foundations of ur sharkcard and grind with all tis with ur free time

8m in game money isnt alot trust me

Referencing the why microtransactions is bad thread. What a $100 shark card gets you is a poorly tested, poorly Q and A'd, poorly balanced, bug ridden game full of issues that Rockstar know about but have no intention of fixing (either because they are too busy developing the next pay wall ridden game breaking pile of sh*t DLC or because the game is so full of sh*te now that they simply do not know how to fix the game (also theirs no money in actually fixing the bugs and balancing the game mechanics) and instead of getting real, genuine and well crafted content that fits in to the game world, is balanced and well developed you instead get endless developed by a five year old in thirty seconds 'Advesory Mods'

In short what $100 shark card gets you is a fundamentally worse game than what we could have had.

As for what it would have gotten me in real life, I would rather spend a $100 to pay a midget to shove light bulbs covered in tabasco sauce up my ass than give it to Rockstar.

I know a midget who would do it for half that.
