Nearly 4 years after it was made, the Hunter finally appears in GTAV and it's a GTAO unlock. Sad.

Great to see the Hunter back, and those new planes look tasty asf, but:

 

 

more PvP crate running?! f*ck off with that sh*t. Don't matter how many times you tart up a pig, it will still stink like sh*t.

I was really happy when the bunker sale worked like MC where you do not have to complete it to get paid. Hope the new sales will be like this, but those "products" make me think of CEO crates and I am also wondering if this is exclusive for CEO's like I/E.

I would be shocked if we didn't have to buy one to get the planes.

The Titan and Luxor Deluxe were shown inside the hangar in the trailer, so maybe the planes and helis are going to end up on the pegasus list, and then be available to choose from which ones can be displayed inside the hangar.

 

 

The Cuban 800 was shown too and that vivid blue paint job on the boat plane (Grumman Goose type affair) makes me think "there'll be a 'No Livery' option to paint these however you want".

Not to burst everyones bubbles but all these new vehicles will still be outclassed by the Hydra and Oppressor.

 

Slow moving huge targets Vs agile jet powered aircraft is not a competition.

 

Unless they drastically nerf the Hydra and Oppressor then spending your money on this will be pointless.

 

The Hydras cannons need nerfing to high hell and the Oppressors missiles need lowering to carrying only five.

 

Pegasus needs a cooldown as well.

I think they already nerfed the hydra, one homing missile is a dead hydra nowadays

And what makes the Hunter a huge selling point? Could it be that it is one of the most requested vehicles? I do agree with you that everything have to do with shark cards, so of course they add highly requested things. We don't know if they would add the hunter if it wasn't this requested, so saying that the "Hunter guys" didn't have any impact on it is something that could actually be completely wrong..

The reason i said that is because we know it was cut content so the thing was pretty much available from the get go ( supposedly ). So you're partially right.

It was a requested vehicle for years sure, but im pretty sure we're seeing it now because as i said it was already ready and it requesting only showed them an opportunity to make more money from cash cards with it. Don't you find that funny that regardless of how much people wanted it, it only shows up after T2 announced their plans to further push microtransactions couple months ago ?

 

R* probably went the "f*ck it" route and ended up adding for that reason, otherwise why would they cut it in the first place if it was with the intention to release it 4 years later?

 

My guess is that the Savage was supposed to take its place but people weren't happy because it wasn't the same. So that plus T2 trying to milk GTAO as long as possible led to possible change of plans. I expect to see more cut content like that in the game for this particular reason and not necessarily because its being requested.

It might influence them but don't fool yourself, it's not altruism.

Seriously? you already have the ability to store 80 vehicles and surely you don't drive all of them, I bet over 90% of them just sit there collecting dust because people are creatures of habit of driving the same vehicles all the timeOf all the aircraft to put in the game as a bomber, they chose a Grumman Goose with an extra pair of engines slapped on the wingtips...

 

I mean, everything else looks super cool (even the Komet, whose role in-game I can't figure out), I just have a problem with the Goose. Oh well, don't have to get it. I love the fact that the MiG's cockpit is teal.

I saw someone say that it was a new model and not the cut one, so why would they make a new one instead of adding the already existing one if the petition didn't have any impact? Edited August 25, 2017 by kenmy13999

I really don't understand why some are upset. We have gotten so much from this game, it's been fairly apparent for some time now that there will be no major overhauls or getting rid of previously added content (which is a good thing, at least IMO). They just release updates and try to cater to as many fan demands as possible. Surely those complaining have gotten SOMETHING they cherish in one of the many DLCs?

 

I'm sorry, but it does come of as a massive sense of entitlement to get mad at a game that has gone out of it's way to offer as much diversity of activity as one could reasonably expect. I think a lot of the people dissatisfied are maybe bored with the game? I don't know, but it seems like a lot of bitching for bitching's sake... we got Heists, Cunning Stunts, many types of FR work albeit very similar types... what more are you expecting? Please, inform me as I'm generally curious and not taking the piss..

I've played Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Oblivion and Skyrim all to their completion. The bugs of one game don't excuse the bugs of another game. Like what point are you even trying to make right now?

if you play the game instead of only loggin in, when a new update drops, you will always have money for the new stuff.

 

I used to believe that, and it used to be true. But with Gunrunning, they upped the ante. You can't play for an hour or two a day and be alright like you could before. With the game's new extra-exorbitant prices and the brutal Gunrunning pay walls, staying on top in GTA now requires full-time commitment.

You have a great point... it would actually be amazing to get a PVP-less update. Maybe Tuners & Hotrods could revole around car meets, street racing and pink slips, and Heist/Lamar style co op missions. They really kill a bunch of birds with one update... Imagine: Tuners & Muscles as I mentioned above, and then a Nightlife and Mansion DLC also that offers deeper dimension of style stuff and clothing customisation among the night club, luxury sedans and coupes, and maybe cage fighting to give it a direct BoGT theme? Both could be co op focused really... they should be at least if they ever happen.

I for one if I don't like an update I don't play it. For example and lowriders came out. I didn't bother with it..but I didn't bitch and complain about it either. Also, We're lucky that unlike other games, GTAO DLC's are free. No need to spend extra money to have access to them
