I agree - I was going to do all my testing on regular vanilla san andreas hopefully whatever findings are discovered I can possibly use on Space E saves but I'm not focuses on testing that, just the regular game. So how should I send you these saves? You want one vanilla save from a new game, and I can send SE save if you want. I think modifying the save data is a good idea it could definitely save a lot of time an trouble shooting. Either way below the surface sounds like it might work but if not then I can just drown right? I don't currently know if my save files will work after editing but I assume there is a way. I've read a lot of people saying they could read the territory influence on the computer but also some people could change the values? IF there is a way to add the gangs by editing the save files I'm all for that option too but I don't have any information on those methods plus I still want to experiment with this off mapping stuff because of the chance for Gang 9 and 10. Also SE mod advertises it will work on any(most) vanilla saves so really anything I find if it doesn't work in the mod I can just load a regular save on the SE mod but I've yet to try loading one. Would that affect any territorities in the future? — So, basically does flying out of the boundaries before unlocking terriories, result in this glitch as well? Thought i'd verify that before going ahead since i'm going to use this master-save to set up the territory glitch later on. I guess i should also mention that at the time when i did everything on the master-save (as far as flying etc) is concerned, i had Silent Patch enabled. If you cause glitches early they'll persist until later. New Info: Glitches to the zone navigation array (Taxi Glitch, etc) will persist in a newly created save. SilentPatch should prevent off-map glitches, but won't fix corruption that already exists. GTASnP.com will automatically fix glitches to the zone navigation array. Robin3sk Posted July 16, 2021 Share Posted July 16, 2021 I've gotten pretty far with adding territories using the "satchel" trick of luring gang members in a territory and then killing them using a sniper/satchel or any other method. It's a pretty tedious process because from my experience it seems as if hood attacks take 10-20 minutes to come in. Recently i've gotten as far as adding territories to Flint Intersection and it seems as if all attacks (even in LS) take exactly 20 minutes now, instead of the regular 10 minutes. I'm in the early stage of the game where these islands haven't been unlocked - in case that matters. So, yeah, was wondering if anyone figured out any way of making attacks come in faster, especially if you've gotten territories outside of zones that are considered a part of LS. I've heard that taking over territories can potentially trigger an attack, but obviously that's not feasible here since i'm basically chaining territories one zone to another using the satchel glitch. TLDR: If anyone knows of a way to make attacks come in faster, even if it's a minute less, let me know! Wait for your attack while in Los Santos. The next attack timer counts down about 16 times slower when not in LS. The time until next attack is reset at the end of each attack to a time between 10 and 30 minutes. The next attack timers is relatively easy to read and manipulate with mods, but I never found a natural way to make it decrease faster, other than waiting in LS. A common strategy is to wait out the timer in an interior, which keeps the timer from going below 30 seconds. Then use an aircraft or R2 vehicle missions to hold the timer on the way to the remote attack zone. I remember praying someone would be able to make a map for this on PS2 when I created the Ultimate Territory Glitch topic about 9 years ago. This is enough to recover my interest in territory stuff and try get Mafia and other overseas gangs into LS. I just have a few questions.. 1. Say you do this before Green Sabre and get 3rd party gangs into LS. Then, using rhans strategies, increase their densities all over LS as you please. Will those gangs stay around after Green Sabre, and just not present on the map? 2. Is it possible to do all territory glitch exploits in overseas parts of the game before Green Sabre? Essentially my goal is to place GSF and other gangs over SF and LV right at the start of the game, so as I play through the story I will notice different gangs throughout the game. 3. Finally I notice PS2 save editors being mentioned a lot in this topic. Is it possible to get the PS4 version of GTA SA (Not the definitive edition) uploaded and modded? Or at least share PS4 saves of GTA SA? I hope to do some extensive work on territories after unlocking Doberman and it would be good if I could share the output. It will be substantially harder to get 3rd party gangs into LS, so hopefully I can figure out how to do the pomor manovour on their zones in SF, also preferably before Green Sabre. I suppose that means it is impossible to get Mafia gangs into the PS4 or PS5 versions. The glitch was lots of fun on PS2 but caused serious problems with PC and Xbox that would carry over into new games started from that save. It is almost tempting to buy a PS3 and San Andrea's lol (I currently have no gaming console) I recall someone found another glitch on the original SA that involved mashing X when loading up the game, and heaps of stores where open asap. Would that work on the original PS2 version too? The idea of buying properties overseas early on PS2 sounds so cool. EDIT: Someone recently remade the topic advising itnworks on DE version. I will give it a go! Il do some research on it. Basically I wanted a PS3 so I could be reunited with that master save I uploaded years ago..but I think a PS2 makes more sense since i have to start a new game anyway to do the debug glitch. I wont get the PS2 console soley for the off map glitch tbh..but if the debug glitch allows me to purchase and spawn properties before the big Smoke mission, I might be tempted to purchase one cheap. And I might use it to play GTA VCS etc. EDIT: To answer your question I only have a laptop. I will try DL San Andreas but I have a hunch it wont run well. Meaning that we will only obtain small territories in the Avispa Country Club, Playa Del Seville (which is already a gang zone by default), two section of Ocean Docks, the main street of the Starfish Casino, the Clown's Pocket casino, two bits of Willowfield (one of which is where the Loco Low Co garage is located at, the other is the main area where the Ammu-Nation is at, already a gang zone), the westernmost section of Whitewood Estates and the tower of Downtown Los Santos. The real question is, is it worth it doing the glitch then if we end up with such small turfs at a mediocre density of 1? Or risk breaking our save with some unintended bugs like territories being zoned to something else and missions like Toreno and Taxi Driver breaking? Well... To be honest what I peronally loved the most about this glitch is the (seemingly) aleatoric idea behind it, that you can get totally random territories occupied by random gangs anywhere. It feels... wrong but also cool. I'd argue on PC there are better ways to obtain new turfs, easily. Now you can properly predict what you'll obtain with this glitch here, so you may as well just use a trainer or CLEO to give gangs zones as you please without risking any adverse side effects. Then there's also the Extended Gang Wars plugin, an absolute must have if you ask me. Shame it's not possible to see third party gang turf colors on PS2 without using the codes to war with them by Ric. I bet the effects are a lot more crazy there. On my main save I've been using a combination of CLEO mods and a bunch of glitches to obtain as much GSF territory as possible while also avoiding overlapping turf or harming friendly gangs (like Aztecas or Triads). Rhans is absolutely an inspiration with all the crazy stuff he did on his videos, like damn, I wouldn't have half the patience to do all of SA in "legit" ways like that I have to say though one time I did the glitch with Extended Gang Wars and some CLEO script to add more turfs added in and noticed some really odd effects. Yeah I know, mods and all, but I think investigating results with some mods can be fun too. On second thought the territory glitch reminds me a lot of Super Mario Bros. and its 256 worlds and areas. Same deal, something unintended, but can be kinda legit. So what results did I get? I noticed King's got rezoned to the LVA Freight Depot! I had these territories become Unused Gang 9 turf because the LVA Freight Depot was that. Turf, well, I went over there and what happened after starting a gang war was that I had BOTH the LVA hood and the King's hood flash. As if they were ONE territory with two different coords. I still have this save in its broken glory. Half of SF seems to be missing its gang territories! Depending on the direction you fly in you'll get different results. Fly east off Palomino Creek and you're likely to get multiple territories of all kinds of gangs in San Fierro. Mind you, all of them will have just 1 density though, so very low. You can later lose gang attacks to give them a boost however.
