Actually , I just wanted to make a GTA short movie in 3ds max with high quality render.

 

Follow this project in this topic , I will share you a downloadable version of final plugin.

 

PLEASE IF THERE'S A TOOL OR SCRIPT WITH SAME USAGE TELL IT ON THIS TOPIC

 

[ Features : ]

 

+ Import objects with placing and instancing directly from file to 3ds Max

+ Auto placing with draw objects and good speed

+ Toolkit to speed up modding ( ymap editing , texture fixer , uv fixer , normal fixer , etc. )

+ An convertor with psychically shader generator for V-Ray Engine .

+ GTA City Engine with full textures with editing tools.

+ Give me your Ideas.

dude this tool must be very nice , you do a perfect job on it , but i see no download link for the tool , is it released yet ?

what version of 3ds max are you using ?

it must be very dificult for a slow PC to load all the map .

10Go of DDR3 is it enought ?

No it's not released yet becuz it's under develop.

I'm writing Gta material to vray converter and another shader to blend gta shaders together.

 

And your questions >

1 . I'm using 3ds max 2016 and 2017 64bit with all service pack installed.

2 . no it's not , My plugin turns high res maps off and put a proxy to materials.

3 . I'm using 8GB DDR3 and it's working as f*ck

4 . I release script in http://gta5-mods.com/and still that site has down for registering and it doesn't send email and I'm waiting

In GIMS IV, it features a 2D map which give us a better depth perception when placing objects on the water.

 

Well , I checked and it seems GTA V hasn't 2D pre-made map like GTA IV but it has a LOD Pack that's like 2D map and even better

+ already my plugin <exporter> has a water data tool and it's finished but loader , not yet.

+ I wanna make a map editor and real time placer for plugin but In the future features .

+ for now you can use dexyfex's codewalker in 2D mode and find just one point position of everywhere you want , then use it on manual mode on my plugin land maker.

Next it makes a land in that position center and you're able to edit , create and ... with GIMS and finally export it with my exporter tool to GTA Ymap. [ I didn't test it yet completely ]

for now I have to work on blend mapper and V-Ray converter.

Interesting progress, keep up the good work. I'm delighted to see someone making their own plugin rather than depending on one tool ( not necessarily a bad thing, but more diversity is better for a rudimentary game like GTA V ).

Sorry I'm busy for some jobs and I will return after doing them ...

The tool is still alive and it switched on C++ with new UI and tool sets ...

 

Maybe I need some another developer to help me to finish it up ..

Just kidding :D I'm back and started again .

I decided to sell it as a complete game toolkit ( Not a model extractor or ... just as a game toolkit ) with a really low price.

But now I decided to set it free into a demo version , a Beta release will be accessible soon .
