I always use the medical centre helipad to, rather ironically, get a Hydra or Buzzard to dish out some serious pain in contact missions, usually The LS Connection.

Never really liked the naval port. It's in a weird position between LSIA and the medical centre, plus Merryweather isn't too kind. Probably because I'm looking at their Alfa class sub with perhaps a little too much envy.

 

#3 needs you to be climber- or stairwayman and my Besra doesn't spawn at helipads like ui ui ui !

It doesn't spawn there, but with a bit of grace on the throttle and with a little bit of manoeuvring, you can put a Besra on it! I regularly land planes at places like the Vespucci heliport and it's surprisingly easy if a helicopter doesn't spawn at the last second! Probably not a good idea to attempt that with the medical centre, unless nothing wants to spawn. At least you're next to a hospital if it goes wrong!

Owning Smoke Tree Road bunker means Sandy Shores airfield is a huge advantage. As good as, if not better than the office private pad (since you can order a Hydra too).

 

I can remember the last time I got a helicopter from LSIA. There are other options in LS, all of them more accessible most of the time.

Been spending more time around Sandy Shores lately, nice place for some offroading, Oppressor gliding and spotting rusty Voodoos and Tornados.

Paleto Bay helipad always shows your heli being inside on the minimap. Then as you turn in it gets moved outside, grr. If you go outside right away, it stays inside! Double grr.

Last session I pretended my Besra was a jump-jet .

Land it on top of the hangar left to where the Titan(s) spawn (the furtest-most left seen from the aitport entrance), and go from hangar-roof to hangar-roof...

Give just enough fuel to keep 'flying'.

 

Or land my besra on the road leading to my (grapeseed) bunker, then all I have to do is make right corner in reverse and the rear is almost touching the entrance. When I steal supplies I spawn 2 feet (or so) from my Besra and can be to the destination in no time...
