Airfield/Heliport Locations Elimination Game

I'm tired of whatever list I make it isn't good enough, and someone feels like they have to just take it upon themselves to change it.

Not just in this game, but literally every game this seems to happen.

sparkly amy!!! we are all very grateful we can play this game you host so amazingly!!! i blame myself for last round, i was very glad flippy verstappen added the crunchy vehicles to the list, because i didn't know which mission was which. but that was because i play the german version of gta online and there are other mother bother names for the missions hihihi. i think a little chit-chat like snip-snap about the list doesn't have anything to do with your fluffiness for hosting this game!!!

i think a good way would be if someone wants to make a suggestion or thinking of maybe it will help someone when changing the list, they should do it in a spoiler so everybody can look at it like:

some folk might not automatically know something like the Naval Port by name, if they just know it as the 'Merryweather docks', so it goes both ways.

 

 

That's the reason I decided to use a "common name" instead of the actual physical location this time. In the last game some people had problems figuring out which option meant which mission, because I used just the actual name.

I figured this time I'd use a name for each one that everyone would know where it was just by reading it, without looking at a map or asking "where is the Naval Port?"

Vespucci - easily my fav, in one of my favourite areas of the map.

NOOSE - can count on one hand the amount I've used this in free-roam. Just too out of the way, and overall a chore to get to compared to many others.

I always call it Merryweather Docks, never heard of naval, lol

I never go to LSIA to pick up heli. Vespucci and hospital are go to places, Sandy Shores up north.

(In PS4 at least) they recently removed the Sandy Shores Airfield gang attack, yay, yay, yay!

Merryweather have a tendency to shoot you, I'm surprised Vespucci is up so high, generally a war zone around it.

#3 needs you to be climber- or stairwayman and my Besra doesn't spawn at helipads like ui ui ui !

My Yacht is docked up north, so this provides easy access to all my Pegasus fleet without the threat of getting blown up.

If no-one minds, I took the liberty of updating the names with the accurate in-game ones (McKenzie Field instead of Grapeseed Airfield, for example).

These elimination games are moderated by a friendly community of like-minded people, and your aggressiveness and foul language are not welcome here.

It's not that hard to discuss that either in the game or per PM - but simply doing it and thinking "its fine and helpful" isn't helpful. A game needs a gamemaster - and the rules has to be followed! ->how its meant to be played. So discuss before, but don't do it and think it's fine. My short 2cent on that.

You're taking it way too seriously. Making a change to the contents of a list does not constitute a definitive change or a break in the rules, and can be easily changed back by the person who takes offense to it, instead of telling the offender to "..f*ck off and create your own game, knobhead", which is not acceptable in any way.

 

Yeah, I was offended by what Fozzie posted in this thread this morning, and If you think that was acceptable then we're seriously out of touch.

I don't think godtrams said it was acceptable or good. She shouldn't have to disavow his post for people to not see she didn't advocate that.

 

Fozzie is ... Brusque, yeah. But I do think people should leave the scores as they are. Or at least just suggest a change, rather than taking the scores and changing them. If just anyone can change the scores, anything can happen with them. Little jokes in the names are far enough, but they could be completely altered if big changes were made.

 

I for one didn't even know where the naval port was - I know it as the Merryweather docks.

 

Also, Amy does go to a lot of trouble to make sure everything's there, that it's accurate, etc. - it must be disappointing to have what you've put out altered on arrival.

 

It's done anyway. Best to move on.

(+1) for the Airfield/Heliport located in quiet little Grapeseed. It's right next to my 2-car home that I use to spawn into a usually quiet part of the map.

 

(-2) for the Jet Kiddie -approved Vespucci location. Although Hydras aren't a problem anymore thanks to the Explosive Sniper, the Vespucci location still retains this dishonorable history.
