I also went the extra mile and bought the Sony Pulse Elite GTA V Edition($179+Tax=$200x2) headset twice.

 

So...around $710 give or take, maybe more because of taxes.

 

 

 

Funny story...I bought the Destiny PS4 and traded in Destiny on the spot for a pre-order on GTA V, so think I actually spent less than what I said.

 

The dudes in EB Games/Gamestop looked at me funny when I opened the box soon as I paid for it, took out Destiny and traded it right there. I think some people were actually pissed off considering all the dirty looks I got.

R$2075,00 to enjoy GTA Online on current gen.

Converting to dollars, that's about $660,00.

bought my PC version (the 7 DVDs) from a well known german electronics store (saturn) for 45 euro (around 53 US$) back in 2016 , because i didn t want to download the 60 GB-Steam version back in the day as my internet connection wasn´t all that great. didn´t (and won´t) buy shark cards so far ....

I was downtown the day the game out on PC and I stumbled on it by accident by looking at shop windows, didn't even know if came out that day, 59.99 at the videogame store.

I'll add a couple of dimes for the alt-accounts I've bought on G2A & MPGH to play around with mods before Rockstar went full Gestapo with that.

 

I won't add the price of my PC, the graphic cards I've burnt through, the shoes my broad saw the same day or the elevated price of gas consumption because it was a sunny day and we had the top down, since I didn't do these things just for the game.

Honestly, if I didn't have three kids still living at home, what would it matter if I spent $100 here and there on shark cards for my own convenience? I know there's not much bang for the buck these days, but it's a question of disposable income. The amount of money I spend every month on education and support makes these figures seem irrelevant.

 

In answer to the OP's question: $0.00 spent on shark cards because they're not worth it in comparison to what I need IRL.

 

But I've bought three 'physical' copies of GTA V - last-gen, current-gen, and the digital version about two months ago.

Started out on PS3, so theres that game for probably $70 or however much it was. I think it was a gift, can't remember.

Then I got a ps4 for early Christmas I think? And I don't remember how much I bought that for or if it was a gift.. lets say $70 lol

This is about the same is me, except I also got GTAV for PC/Steam.

 

I had to buy the PS4 to keep from losing my old PS3 characters. Sony should be giving Rockstar a nice kickback for that dirty trick. Of course, by now, I thought I'd also be playing RDR2 on the PS4, but no. Rockstar has cost me a lot of money, without providing any new content or games. The shine is starting to come off the producer-consumer relationship.

Not really, I solely bought it for the steelbook and the map. I was always against these preorder and special edition advantage things, yet I bought it.
