I spent like $140ish or something like that for Collector Edition at launch and then $60 for a copy so my brother could roll with me. I just use my brother's XB1 copy to play at his house when I'm around.

So I've spent about $200 bucks or so.

$150 PS3 Collector's Edition.

$60 PS4 physical copy.

$60 PS4 digital copy.

$150 PS+ for PS4 for every year I've played on PS4. (This is the only game I play I would need it for.)

$60 PC copy.

This is the most I've spent on a game by a large margin. It's been money well spent.

I'm amazed that I still play this game every day after almost four years. It's a testament to how great a game this really is.

I would say $60 at most. Got a used copy of 360 version pretty cheap with a few other trade-ins. Then used my 360 copy as trade bait for a X1 used copy. Not a bad investment for a now 4 year old game.

0$ on the CE edition, cancelled pre-order the moment i saw how arcade ish the gameplay and damage deformation was which i saw on leaked gameplay footage. Pissed me off good time.

$20 on auctions on ebay in return for like $60+ PSN cash which i bought the game for. Back then those cards didn't go for such high prices as nowadays.

$16 for GTA-V on PS4 auction from ebay germany and like 3 dollar shipping to the Netherlands.

$0 on PS+ on PS4 because i use the free account trick every 2 weeks to avoid costs.

So about $40 total. And got hundreds of billions on multiple accounts on PS4 right now. Always nice to have.

Is it baiting or is it being grateful when I say that I'm really thankful to all of you people spending so much money to R*?
Thanks. Much appreciated, really. (:

I know it's weird but i have a friend that owns a videogame shop, and he's giving me his used ps4, with a bundle of gtav, so i have spent nothing for this game haha

$60 for PS3 version in 2013

$60 for PS4 version in 2014

$24 for PC version in 2017

so ~$144

*oh and since people are including PS+ which tbh gtao is really the only reason I even continued to buy ps+
idk I get good ps+ deals since it runs out around black friday so I typically have paid between ~$35-50 annually

Countless hours of potential earnings pissed straight up into the air and caught in my own mouth. Smh. At least I'm not a casual.

$180 or thereabouts...once for the 360, once for PC when I got my new gaming rig and then for the Xbone, as I didn't want to transfer at the time thinking I'd actually play it as well but I haven't touched it (just my son so far, little sh*t blew all the cash on it and is now too broke for anything hahaha). I did buy one or two small Sharkcards ages ago to get started but that is it.

About $1100

$60 for the ps3 version

Another $60 for the PC version

And $900 for the PC I built just to play this game (sold my ps3 and games to fund it)

No regrets couldn't be happier

$60.00 - PS3 Copy

$60.00 - PS4 Copy

$60.00 - Three twenty dollar shark cards. Used to occasionally get them back in the day when I was poor and to thank R* for the updates.

So $180.00

Why are people including their PS+ and consoles? The thread is just referring to GTA.

Some people got their console specifically for the game. I'm one of them

$150 for CE for PS3 (I don't regret that, it made a survival difference in 2013)

$15 for the hardcover guide (still shrink wrapped)

$45 for PS4 version

110,000 Dave & Buster's tickets for a PS4 (roughly $220 went into those tickets)

~$1.00 for my beer hat. The rest of the costs were recovered by selling my other one and extra stickers

$50 for a $100 Shark card that eventually became worth GTA$28,000,000. (See "Share your stories" thread for explanation)

$5.00 for $10 Shark card given as a contest prize

$30 for a complete set (plus one extra) of the promotional "FlyUS" mini photo viewers

$516

CosmicBuffalo

Direct cost

60 xb1

60 pc

25 shark card

25 modded acct

Incidentals

Xb1 300 used

Elite controller 150

Live 240.

I can truly add these costs because I bought these because of gta and gtaO, but they have other uses.

The amount I have played...definitly worth it. The game has probably saved me money.
