Hmmmmmmm I did play max Payne 3 back on PS3 when it first came out even bought the collectors cause it was the last one for the series. But I never heard of this "bonus" before.

 

Anyone knows? I was doing a quick search on google and saw posts about this "bonus" would be nice to have a black max Payne shirts lol. While we are at it add a la noire top as well.

 

I'm thinking its a scraped content.

I think it was The Benz in an interview with CVG , he said that high ranking players from Max Payne 3 multiplayer would get some exclusive unlocks and bonuses when starting GTA Online.

 

Me and my crew were all full prestige and were hyped before release about these bonuses. We thought they might convert our worthless Max Payne bucks to GTA dollars, give us exclusive masks or even unlock Max as a parent choice for the character creator.

 

One thing I do know is that this caused a spike in multiplayer numbers for a few weeks, the favelas and alleys were crawling with low levels on the GTA hype train, this was about as much reward as I got from it

So, the stats they build up in GTA Online now will continue accruing, regardless of platform?

 

We've been working towards that for a while; started with Max Payne 3 and the Crews. The Crews you can take across and use them here, and well give you little bonuses if you've got a Max Payne character at a certain level. So, yeah, we want this to be an ongoing thing. This isn't just for GTA V. It's for the future of all our games.
