Your best bet is to (sadly) grind VIP work. Takes some time, but eventually once you are able to afford a vehicle warehouse (if you don't already have one), that is when the money will start building up fairly quickly

Clothes store: Buy a heavy UTILITY vest and a BP helmet, save as outfit at the cashier. Name it FlacidVest for me

 

Ammunation: Stock up on armor and ammo

 

Snack stores: Visit 3 stores and fill up on all snacks, these will keep you alive even at a low level (keep snack menu open when in a vehicle. You can eat snacks when aiming, running, or leaning in cover without doing the animation)

 

Now you're done spending and ready to join a heist. Accept a heist invite or pull up your phone and hit Quick Jobs > Heist > Direct

If you wear your heavy utility vest & BP helmet the host might not kick you because you look prepared to win, so just make sure not to die and you'll be rich in no time.
