I had my MTU set to 650, that's almost as low as you can choose. Depending on the day I would have a few people in my session, I always lag out additionally and then I'm good to go.

I was in the session alone, bought some stuff and had 28 people when I checked again.

Time of the day factors highly in that too... I've been in solo public lobbies & suddenly 4 people show up all at once saying things like "GG" "thanks for helping" all patting each other on the back so to speak.. I'm guessing they've just returned from a heist finale or something, then other times, it wil go a good hour before someone join, even then they're just other grinders wanting a sleepy session to do their work in.. which can be benificial espcially if you are selling in bikers or bunkers for the 'high demand' bonus....

It was offline, will be interesting to see what the others will say.

Update: Almost an hour in public solo now and not one person joined. MTU is at 700 btw.

 

Still can sell cars/bunker stuff alone, will check the new hangar missions next.

So far it's the same for me as before and I'm not using any restrictions other than an initial lag into solo public.

I can confirm 100% that PC's solo session method is unchanged. I can also confirm that I/E hasn't been touched. I repeat SOLO SESSIONS WORK FOR I/E!

Solo session here since I updated my game, didn't even use MTU I just unplugged my router while loading and plugged it back in, it lagged me out the lobby as soon as I joined, nobody joined my game yet.

Yep, have the port blocked and landed in an empty session as always. Did a coke supply mission, remains the same. Didn't try the smuggling thing yet.

Yep, I can sell in solo public lobbies just fine. In fact, all the businesses and VIP jobs are functional, besides the ones that require at least one other non-organization player in your session.

 

On the other hand, the Oppressor is now practically useless as they've patched its Editor glitch. Considering selling it if it proves to not having that much of a use to me anymore.

As usual, the typical griefer who is looking for more excuses to be a dick is wrong. No, you don't get rewarded with crates for destroying other people's crates, but you can keep them for yourself by killing whoever is carrying it and stealing it for yourself.

I'm pretty sure R* F meant they're working on blocking the ports to stop the solo session tool from working.

 

Because MTU on ps4 still works.

Freezing/unfreezing on PC still works.

 

Selling in public sessions is working like before. So 20 pages of anger and name-calling did pretty much nothing but repeat the same thing from the "Petition" thread.

 

So time to close this myth?
