The Oppressor: can missile targeting be turned off?

I love riding/flying this bike all around the map, and mostly in a "non-combat" manner. But, I can't seem to find a way to disable the slightly distracting missile targeting reticle that obstructs the view of scenery, etc, while soaring over buildings and mountaintops.

 

Anyway, not a major thing... but just thought I'd ask here after Googling awhile without finding much, etc.

I'd guess that it goes when you're in passive mode. But I don't know for sure.

Just switch from the targeting rockets to the non-targeting ones.

Just take off the rockets while taking the your flying session.

I also take issue with this while driving the Ruiner 2k.

That reticule is distracting as hell. Passive mode gets rid of it, but I wish there was just an "unarmed" option.
