Basically it's a floating mobile house but you can't launch heists from it.

If you've "grinded" 2.2 million,i would say no,not worth it.

For me, no.

But do you think it is worth it?

well the cheapest one right now is $3 million without the gold railings (i can live with chrome one's) the rest isn't all that expensive but i don't know how safe i would be even with the anti air guns and considering how violent things get in gta online since the gun running dlc.

No. Not if that's all you have.

I had over $25mil in the bank and got mine for 50% off. Even then, it felt like i spent too much.

I'll have to run piracy prevention 250* times to break even on it.

Yachts are for disposable income only.

Another way to put it:

"If you have to ask, you can't afford it."

*Edit. I didn't math good.

Depends on how you play the game.

Doublecheck that you have a Buzzard, some sort of armored / weaponized vehicle, an office and the Import/Export warehouse.

Almost any business property is more useful than a Yacht.

However, a Yacht is more useful than most people think! It's not as bad as golden plane.

- AA-defences. You and your vehicles are in the god mode while you are in the yacht. No one can damage anyone on the Yacht. If you want to do a (car) meet with randoms in a lobby - a Yacht is the safest place. I'm not joking. Bring your cars, bring Cargobob. No griefer will ever disturb you.

- Teleportation glitch. You can teleport to any location in the world from your Yacht instantly and for free (and without changing the session). I use my Yacht as a spawn location. When I join a session, I can go to my office, my warehouse or my MC business within a few seconds. This is the ONLY game property that has this glitch.

- Piracy Prevention VIP work - a sort of true passive income. You start a job, place few mines and do your own business. Very similar to Fortified. If anyone is trying to capture your Yacht - suicide to spawn on it.

- It has some nice stunt-friendly geometry.

You won't impress anyone with the Yacht though, so if you are planning to buy it for this exact purpose - don't. Also, very few players are interested in a pool parties or drinking in your bar. If you want to host a party on your Yacht, better to bring something original.

Maybe, just maybe if you still have 15-20 mill after you purchase it

Edit: it also depends on personal preferences, I never use mine but I've never regretted buying it either

Literally almost completely useless. Unless you need to for some reason spawn in the middle of the ocean and be able to take off in a heli from there there then this is for you, but I don't see why wouldn't you use your CEO slave woman.

Otherwise, it's just another thing to show off about and maybe chill at.

Btw if you're gonna save up for a yacht, might as well get the best one on sale.

Don't buy the Orion, get the Pisces.

Chillings on my yacht, while making brunch irl, hearing my PS4 controller rattle on my Lefnatuae glass coffee table <imported> because of thirsting muppets above deck....Priceless

It's great if you intend to launch the vip mission: piracy measures a lot, so it pays itself over time, and also to have a nice place to go on the sea if you want to chill.

Down? more like from a distance, the yatch is at sea level hahaha.

Wtf are you talking about with that teleportation being free? it costs 25k to move the yatch to any location in the map..

If you have to ask this question, it's not worth it.

BTW: The yacht adds $900 to your daily utility fees.

I love my yachts, but I can't recommend it to others at this point. The CEO offices added most of the perks the yachts had.

Do not get the Orion model. The lack of helicopter doesn't make the savings over the Pisces or Aquarius worthwhile.

$1000 added to the daily fees.

You missed the link apparently. Re-read my message again.

I'm talking about starting the job (a race, a deathmatch - anything) from your Yacht in the location you are interested and then quitting the lobby.

It costs you nothing.

Like someone else here recently posted, better get the Tugboat. You can even land a Buzzard on it.

Another thing to note, since at least May, the yacht had a noticeable camera waver/bob that makes using a sniper on land lubbers all but impossible.

Most think it was a glitch but I think it was done intentionally to make using the explosive sniper difficult during Piracy Prevention.

I mean, 3 or more players with explosive snipers could put any beach on lockdown and make it all but impossible to launch an effective attack.

It's a shame then that they didn't think to turn off paying for pvs when they fly their bike to my yacht.

Or when running this mission in general. Most other CEO/VIP work missions allow you to defend yourself from PV's without penalty. I guess they deemed this one unnecessary as most insured PV's were unreachable when the mission was created.

Bah, I'm sure they'll fix this in the next update. You know, because R* is always on top of these issues that cost us undue charges for rightfully defending ourselves.
