Changing/Reworking Sound mods

Hi everyone
I'm new into modding scene, but i wanted to... hmm...
I've downloaded sound of viper, which is sound "FAST_1" but i wanted to aply it for bansheewhich is "FAST_4" (and some other examples).
I need to rename files in "FAST_1" but i dont know how. OpenIV doesn't allow me to, SparkIV is crashing at the start...
Any ideas/help ?
