Honest mistakes I made over a decade ago.

back on microwave v2 or was it ps3 hihihi a friendly fluffy flippy player gave me a modded franklins car. i forgot to put insurance on it, so a few minutes later it was already gone hihihi

That reminds me of the time I moved from 360 to the Xbox One. I heard the red gang Peyotes were hard to get so I stocked up before I transferred I was down to my last one and I called it up to drive it around 30 seconds later it ended up in the ocean and it wasn't until I called Mors that I realized I didn't insure it. I did get another one over a year later.

 

A mistake I use to make daily was going up to my Chumash bunker way too fast and ending up in the ocean. 10k a time for my Entity insurance I learned pretty quick to slow down.

Switching weapons too fast and end up unequipping it and throw a retarded punch in the air right in the middle of a shootout

When the game first came out, I would often do an animation in the middle of a gunfight- then die.

here's my mistakes:

*when doing a heist setup.the cocaine one.i tried to escape.i hit the cops boat.i fell for the jet-shark thing and i found myself in the boat.surrounded by cops ready to kill me.i had the heavy vest.

 

*got stuck behind the bin in the cocaine lockup.a box of stuck was added.and couldn't go around.i was stuck in the corner of my cocaine lockup.just changed sessions.

 

*this was on the ps3.during a heist.the plane heist setup.we are done.and so we are on the road.waiting.this dude out of nowhere started shooting,wasting his ammo.i am on the side of the road.then the most stupid funniest thing happened.he got hit by a car.he died.setup failed

 

*i was going to get a car for the I/E business.on the bike i fell.NPCS being NPCS.i stand up.i shoot the npc with the rpg.while i am doing this a wedge appears out of nowhere.he was probably selling guns.almost got him with the rpg.i was more surprise than him.since i try to be cool with people doing their business and gaining money.i sent a message to clear things up

Buying a Bunker. What was I thinking...

 

I literally do no business there whatsoever (besides going to the shooting range and maybe use it for a new environment for making pictures). I bought it into actually thinking that I didn't need the MOC to obtain the Mk. II weapons. Boy, was I wrong. I did maybe a few gunrunning supply missions, and it felt mundane very quick to me. Shut down the business since it was absolutely no use for me. I'll stick to working with my CEO and Vehicle Warehouse.

 

My alternative to avoid that mistake? For me, I pretty much avoid buying one on PS4 since I made that mistake on XB1. Never again...

 

Another is buying clothes on accident. This usually happens rarely. Or grab clothes just because it was free at the time, but come to a conclusion that I don't wear them. Ever. At all. Yes, I'm looking right at you, Beach Bum Update.

Option: Remove mines, you have mortars, they are too dangerous on a car that explodes with just 1 mine.

Buying a Bunker. What was I thinking...

For me, the Bunker was a means to getting the Oppressor fully loaded.

 

Now that I've got it, I have no need for the Bunker, either, except as a place to duck into when I'm out that way.

 

For me, another mistake I made was buying too the new vehicles too quickly and not taking the time to read online about how they work.

In example, I just "assumed" the APC would be a single-player vehicle, much like the tank, as it was in GTAIV.

 

When I got it and found out it requires two players to be effective, I was really disappointed. I mean, you can drive & shoot the Rhino, right? Duh!

 

Same with the Anti-Aircraft trailer. I just "assumed" it would behave like Yacht Defenses and automatically fire at aircraft.

But no, you have to actually climb into the thing, which if a Hydra drops on you, you're dead.

Buying a Hydra and a yacht, even upgrading said yacht to the top version without checking what would come on it. Both are incredibly huge wastes of money and I just bought them because they looked cool.

 

Also, selling my Lynx when I needed money.

Buying the tampa weaponized. Every time i take it out i have to much fun and end up blowing myself up and paying 20k. I dont use it that much. Still fun though.

I bought every single piece of Gunrunning clothing since they were all on discount and it took 2 mil out of my wallet. I regretted doing it about halfway through it but hey, I wanted to finish what I started and so I did. Now I have a lot of clothing I'll probably never wear and only 10 mil!

It was a mistake to trust my brothers helping me selling the guns.

 

Two brothers play the game as well. One of them managed to get the dune buggy stuck between a building and a rock or something.

So another day, I happened to do the buggy mission with my other brother. Told him about the unfortunate event a few days earlier.

 

Don't have to tell how the story ends...

 

 

 

 

 

 

(to be honest, these were among the rare occasions THEY f*ck things up, usually I'm the one:

- driving Top range cars into the river

- blowing myself up at the bank in PACS by shooting the RPG into my crew mate

- let the helicopter explode on the rock next to the dinghy

- walking into the tail blades of the chopper

- falling of buildings failing to grab the ladder

- let's say landing the Titan hasn't always been my expertise

- these are merely some mistakes I dare to talk about..)

My biggest mistake was transferring my original account to PC before realizing it was a cheater infested cesspool. Even if I did enjoy starting from scratch on PS4.

 

Other than that I regret filling my Pegasus list with vehicles I never use. Buzzard, Hydra, Savage and Cargobob would fully cater to my needs.

I don't regret the Hydra and while I agree the Yacht was an expense I did not need to incur, I bought it twice: one for each character.

There's the classic "walking into Buzzard rotors at the end of a mission" mistake.

 

The one I hate most is taking the turn too quick and rolling into the river just north of the museum....always happens in a supercar or some other vehicle with exorbitant insurance costs.

i bought all halloween masks from 2 years ago and now i have a trillion masks in my inventory. biggest mistake coz they clog up the most used menu in the game and you can't do anything about it.

¿A mistake I made in GTA Online?; let's see through my files... ¡Bingo!, I've made lots of mistakes but I got the biggest one right here:

 

1. When I was level 30, during a "Humane Labs Raid" heist finale I joined as a random and to amenize the helicopter trip to the drop zone I decided to go inside random vehicle shopping websites to see if I could glitch the game to give me an expensive vehicle without giving any cash, instead of getting a useful attack aircraft for recreational use, I spent almost all my money in a crappy Swift helicopter (the purchase left me with 2000$).

¿What's the lesson here kids?; don't look for glitches where there aren't any...

joing 2 randoms in a heist because a friend asked and i assuemed they were his friends and things would run smooth. it should of taken us 15 min tops, took over 90 min.

Bought the Independence masks from the 3rd party seller somewhere in 2015 as a part of the "all clothing" bundle. Never again.

 

If I wanted to just wear my aviators, I would have to spend a minute to scroll to them, if I wanted to get a cool looking mask for my heavy costume, I would accidentally equip an I.D. mask which would bug my vest out. Also, scrolling through the countless Valentine shirts just to get to some plain grey shirt I need. Gets old. At least there weren't as many clothing items as on the current-gen.

 

Also, not transferring my PS3 acc with all the dirty money to the PC. It's dirty, but it's kind of better than to start all over again with nothing to my name. The streets are kind of meaner now than they were back in the days. Poor me is like a cockroach now.

I still wish R* would let us sell Pegasus stuff. We could use that money to put toward new content and stay loyal to the game forever!

 

And yes, before people cry, "But, fw3, people used glitched money to buy Pegasus stuff!" I'm well aware.

But it doesn't matter at this point. If you bought a Golden Lux for $10M, then let us sell it off for $100 bucks! What does R* have to lose?

 

Anyhow, back on topic, another mistake I constantly make is waiting for my vehicle to come - without a weapon in hand.

 

It leaves me wide open for a mugger attack! See, if you're empty handed, you can't punch a mugger - he mugs you.

However, if you have a weapon in hand, you can actually whack him with the weapon before he mugs you.

 

And besides, even if he does hit you and you fall, it takes 2.6 hours for your lazy butt to get up off the ground and go after him.

If you don't have a weapon, you have to get one, arm it, and then take aim... and by that point, he's in Liberty City spending your $180 taking Roman bowling.

 

Option: Just always carry a weapon when you're on foot. The benefits of having having one far outweigh the reasons why not.
