should the rio be a boat like the one in vice city and san anrdreas?

 

Yeah, I remember that boat! But not all the old models from past games return the same way they were before, like the Vortex (from a hovercraft to a sports bike). It might come back at the future with a different name, perhaps.

 

Also, I've chosen that name as a reference to the base model itself. That Volkswagen is named after Brasília, that is the federal capital of Brazil, and Rio de Janeiro was once the capital of Brazil many, many years ago.

The VW Santana is still sold in China and its previous generation was exactly like that, but with slightly different head lights and tail lights design.

 

Maybe I'll do it in the future, but with a different name, because I already made a Tahoma...

If doing the 1st gen Autocrosser I'd say it should look like this

- BF Rio (Volkswagen Brasilia);

I'll be adding more upcoming models later!

 

The idea of Brasilia is cool. I have ideas for the MP3 version, but I wanted to call it BF Mexico (referring to the car of a character from the series "Chaves"). Rio is also a good name for this Brazilian VW car.

Hehe, funny that you mentioned the "El Chavo del Ocho".

 

I've named the VW Thing based car as "Zenon" exactly because of that series. Señor Barriga (Zenón Barriga y Pesado) drove one of those in that episode they all go to Acapulco!

 

I don't know if many people will get the reference, so I'm not sure if I'll keep that name.

- Imponte Autocrosser: is a nice idea, although the GTA IV's Imponte DF8-90 is slightly based on the 1998-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix... I'll think about it.

 

- Imponte Phoenix 1st gen: hey, that one is great! But I might call it 'Ruiner Classic' or something... "Ruining imports since '67"

 

- Annis ???: although based on the Maxima, the GTA IV's Annis Pinnacle would fit perfectly to an Annis sedan like that.

I was thinking about doing a modern Rebel some time ago.

 

Both suggestions are great, but to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of "too modern" vehicles... With a few exceptions, of course.

 

I might do both, but around 2008-2014 to keep with GTA V's story setting in 2013, although R* doesn't really care about that anymore.

Quite a coincidence about the Feltzer Classic, because I was thinking about making it based on a slightly older SL, similar to the Feltzer from GTA SA.

 

About the "Huntley Classic", it's a great idea! However, since the Huntley is now based on the Bentley Bentayga, it's going to be "Gallivanter Baller Classic".
