So, the Los Santos Tuners update is now available!

 

Unfortunately, as I don't have a proper GPU at the moment, I couldn't test all vehicles and their customization options on PC.
I did tested the cars that were released today in their stock form on PS4. I really liked the new features, especially the test track at the LS Car Meet.
Just like past updates, R* apparently took notes from cars made by the community, sketches and 3D models.
But let's focus on the vehicular additions. Here's some quick thoughts about them: (I'll add some pictures in the following weeks)

 

Annis 'ZR380' Euros

Based on the Nissan 370Z.
Ohh, great! A newer, non-weaponized version of the ZR380. It always puzzled me why R* haven't added a stock version of the ZR380 along with its Arena variants in the Arena Wars update. 
As much as I like it, I still kinda prefer the "older" look of the ZR380. Those rear lights, though...

Annis Remus

Based on the Nissan Silvia [S13].
Woah! I wasn't expecting to see a lore friendly S13 Silvia to be added in this update. I mean, it's a popular model, but I thought that it would be most likely to be based on the S14 or S15 instead.
As I mentioned before, I've been preparing a sketch based on the S13 for the next batch of sketches. I'm still going to finish it regardless of the presence of the Remus.
By the way, at first I thought that the name was kinda stupid for a lore Silvia. However, after finding out what the name refers to, it's actually clever.

Annis ZR350

Based on the Mazda RX-7 [FD]
YES!! YES!! YES!!
FINALLY! They finally brought the ZR350 back, based on one of my favorite japanese sports cars ever (totally not because of the first Need for Speed game).
As much as I liked to see it back (and already owning one in GTAO), I still think that its design and customization options could be better.
Let's see what the modding community can do with it! If Take Two don't end up yeeting car mods too...

Dinka Jester RR

Based on the Toyota Supra [Mk5]
Ohh, nice! I was kinda expecting to see a new Jester based on the new Supra to be added to the game eventually.
I must say, however, as much as I like it, I wish it was a different Jester (or whatever R* decides to call it) based on the 1st gen. Acura NSX instead...
A nice addition, nonetheless!

Dinka RT3000

Based on the Honda S2000.
YES!! YES!! YES!!
Another car I wasn't expecting to see that "soon" in GTA.
Not only that, it comes with a functional retractable roof! But if you prefer, you can have it with a hardtop.

Emperor Vectre

Based on the Lexus RC F [USC10].
Finally a new Emperor car! And a cool looking one!
If only I could test it now...

Karin Calico GTF

Based on the Toyota Celica GT-Four [ST205].
Ahh, the very first car teased from this update. I wasn't expecting to see a lore friendly Celica that "soon" in GTA.
As much as I like it, I have to say that it looks way too similar to its real life counterpart...

Karin Futo GTX

Based on the Toyota Sprinter Trueno [AE86].
Ohh, great! Nice to see a Futo based on the Sprinter Trueno finally added to the game. And it's the hatchback version too!

Karin Previon

Based on the Toyota Soarer [Z30].
Another car I wasn't expecting to see that "soon" in GTA. And using the Previon name, for some reason.
As much as I liked it, I think its design could be handled better. Also, a missed opportunity to have another Emperor model (not a big issue, though).
Name returning from GTA SA.

Karin Sultan RS Classic

Based on the Subaru Impreza 22B-STi [GM].
Ohh, nice! An older version of the Sultan RS. Again, another car I wasn't expecting to see that "soon" in GTA.
If only I could test it now...

Based on the Audi S3 [8VS].
Nice to see a new Obey added to the game, even thought it's a newer version of an existing model.

Pfister Comet S2

Based on the Porsche 911 [992].
Nice to see a modern Comet model that actually have a different body shell unlike the Comet SR.

Pfister Growler

Based on the Porsche 718 Cayman [982].
Ohh, great! A new Pfister car that isn't a Comet!
I really wanted to see a lore Cayman/Boxster in a while.
If only I could test it now...

Vapid Dominator ASP

Based on the Ford Mustang Cobra R.
Woah! This one got me by surprise!
A very nice surprise, actually. I really wanted to see a new Dominator based on the 90s to early 2000s Mustang.

Vapid Dominator GTT

Based on the Ford Mustang Mach 1.
YES!! YES!! YES!!
Finally a proper classic Dominator model! I mean, I don't have any issues with the Vapid Ellie, the Dominator GTT is definitively better than the former.

Vulcar Warrener HKR

Based on the custom Datsun Sunny "Hakotora" Truck.
Another unexpected addition!
It's kinda funny to see it in the Sedans class. Probably because it's a variant of the Vulcar Warrener...
Not exactly my kind of car, but it's a nice addition nonetheless!

Übermacht Cypher

Based on the BMW M2 [F87].
Nice to see a new Übermacht model!
Interestingly, my Cypher sketch is based on the BMW 1 Series. The 2 Series is considered as an indirect sucessor of the 1 Series coupe.

In addition to the new vehicles, new liveries were added to certain models, such as the Karin Kuruma and Bravado Banshee (finally with some double stripes)!

 

Aaaand that's it!
 

To be honest, I don't know what's going on with the people responsible in making the car models in the latest updates. Most of the vehicles added in this update looks way too similar to their real life counterparts, not to mention some very uninspired names...
With all the shortcomings aside, in my opinion, this DLC has the best car selection in a while! Especially for not including weaponized and/or futuristic crap!
I may use some of these models as base for updated versions of my sketches, trying to make them more "lore friendly".

And i have to disagree with you this time friend. More accurate cars is the best thing that ever happened to this game. We will never ever see a pariah or a revolter again. I think rockstar always wanted to make more realistic vehicles but was always held back by hardware or fear of copyright issues, and if you pay attention they have been little by little making the cars more similar, i think to "test the waters" and see if that could put them in trouble. 

Now we got to the point where the cars are so similar that we can pretend we are driving the real thing, and this also opens room to add more vehicles, since you dont have two in one anymore.

I've made a few race cars before, such as the Declasse Black Mamba (Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe), Karin R70K-II (Toyota 7 / Nissan R380-II), Übermacht "Zion Classic" LM (BMW 3.0 CSL "Batmobile"), Bordeaux Voyager "GP1" (Renault Espace F1), etc.

 

As I already have other ideas in mind and old sketches to update, I don't have interest in doing NASCAR-based models at the moment. Not a bad idea, though. 😏

And so, the current batch of sketches is FINALLY complete! 🤩

 

Not in the way I wanted to because of my poor PC showing its age and yeeting the GPU... 😆🤦‍♂️

But at least I can still use my PC and do the drawings on paper.

 

I have a little idea for the next batch of sketches. 😏

 

I've already decided which sketches to do and update, however, unlike the previous batches, I'll NOT reveal the list here.

That's right! You may never know what can be posted next... 😉

 

This batch features 7 brand new sketches, 6 old sketches to be remade and 6 to be updated, although I'm not sure if I'll do the latter 6 now or wait until I get a new GPU/PC.

I seriously do not get what @pemonteiru and @ZloiVasja are getting on here. I simply reacted to Zloi's message with the bruh emote just because he was implying that Silent SHOULD make the suggestions that he gave to him.

 

And although I don't like bad and impolite behavior, I can see why @RushCars24ID had to be rude.

Zloi's endless continuous amount of spam and random messages were really REALLY getting on our nerves, especially with the many times SilentSoul said to STOP MAKING REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS ENDLESSLY. 

 

Jesus Christ, he even said he would already make a new batch!

What's the point of bugging him over and over again if he will ACTUALLY provide more content for all of you guys, where the hell is the logic in that?
