Hello @SilentSoul21 I hope you like this request 😃, and I think I could not have made it at a better time!, taking advantage of the fact that you have made several Shelby's, what do you think of this car?

Well, well, well... What do we have here?!

 

 

Like in the latest updates, vehicle ideas I've made before became reality! 

 

Here's some little thoughts about the vehicles from this update:

 

Ocelot Swinger: although I preffered to see it as a lore friendly Jaguar E-Type, it was a nice surprise to see it based on the Jaguar XJ-13 race car prototype! The model does looks really nice! Also, it does have a livery option based on the Austin Powers' "Shaguar". 

Enus Stafford: ohh my, the Stafford turned out better than I thought! Marvelous! It's now based on the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II mixed with Jaguar Mark VIII and/or Mark IX. One of the liveries available for the Stafford is based on the RR Phantom V owned by John Lennon. 

Dinka Jester Classic: I gotta say that R* did a great job fixing and improving the Jester Classic! More customization parts, a Supra-like spoiler (as a tuning option, at least), liveries, better head lights and tail lights... I'm glad that they put it on hold after the backlash because of the poor quality of the older version to make improvements! Sure that the fact the model is still branded as "Dinka" triggers me, but that doesn't bothers me that much now. 

 

Other vehicles I've liked from this update are the Mammoth Patriot Stretch (more limos, please!), Brute Festival Bus (cool custom bus), Vapid Speedo Custom (I wish there was more simplier customization parts for it, though), B-11 Strikeforce (based on the 'Warthog', it'll be nice to make it spawn at Fort Zancudo) and Benefactor Terrorbyte (based on the Mercedes Zetros).

 

Too bad that the update brought mostly military and futuristic stuff instead of more sports, muscles, classics or better yet, more GTA IV cars. But here's something that really made me happy:

 

 

Along with the new models, R* updated the Maibatsu Penumbra, Karin Futo. Imponte Ruiner, Declasse Mamba and Invetero Coquette Classic with new liveries! Mammoth Patriot and Bollokan Prairie also received new customization parts along with the liveries! 

 

FINALLY we can have stripes on the Mamba, Coquette Classic and Ruiner! 

 

Unfortunately, these new features are dripfeed. I hope they become available soon! Can't wait to update my personal vehicles in GTAO!

Yeah! It's great to see old cars getting new customization! Debunks the old belief that Rockstar just can't update old assets, and really opens up so much potential for improvements on older cars. Benny's wheels for all cars when, Rockstar?

 

And I am so for more limousines, whether they're closer to a sedan or a stretched example. I was kinda hoping for a Cadillac Brougham stretch, myself, but I think everybody was expecting a Patriot limo. I am a little bemused by the Futo losing its livery by default and the classic one now costing money, but... At any rate, the Stafford has me in love...

The Jester Classic was good for me and resembles the SA rendition. The only problem is being a Dinka (maybe it should be another Karin car), this makes it difficult to have the old NSX in the game, since the new Jester is a current NSX.

Yeah, right? Everybody say that the 2 universes aren't linked, so why doing this? I think that there's more people angry about it being Jester Classic than it would have if they didn't make the reference

I personally figure it's better for Rockstar to stick with new names than rely on older ones. Since the introduction of manufacturers, it's been a real mess of III-era names being reused on different IV/V cars, while at the same time, it can make more sense. III-era names were pretty flexible, whereas names haven't been too mixed up in IV/V. The best case is the Infernus/Torero split, which makes sense - the Diablo is a different car than the Countach. I'm for that kind of renaming, so I'd figure a Supra analogue should have a new name rather than be a "Jester Classic," since the Jester is now a Honda NSX.

 

That being said, I'm not too particularly miffed about the case of the Youga Classic, since it didn't have any kind of analogue in previous games. From a design standpoint, it should really be a "Speedo Classic," though I will admit the whole van situation in GTA V is weird. I doubt all the folks at Rockstar really care all too much about the names, as long as the items themselves sell, but y'know, it can get frustrating for people who get that way easily.

Well, the two universes are not connected, but the first Dinka Jester (modern) is a new NSX, so we will not have an old NSX ... unless it's from another brand or another name.

Exactly! I really hope they keep up updating and improving older vehicles! Especially adding new modifications parts for cars that doesn't have any, like the BF Surfer. 

 

I was expecting the Benefactor Stretch E (stock version of the Turreted Limo) and even the Dundreary Admiral Stretch to be added in this update. The Mammoth Patriot Stretch was a nice addition, though!

 

About the Brougham stretch, that could be a stretched version of the Albany Emperor. @G.C.T. made one for GTA IV and it's featured in IVPack mod for GTA V.

The problem with the Jester Classic (apart from name and brand choices) was the poor quality from the first version. Maybe pegassi? If I'm not mistaken the infernus in GTA SA used to be a honda NSX theres a slight chance we might see it like that. Although it would still be weird being made from Pegassi since it's based on Lamborgini.

Oh, I certainly know about IVPack's Emperor Stretch, and all of the VanillaWorks' beater Emperor models. If the game were to ever get an official Emperor Stretch, I would hope Rockstar takes some inspiration from VanillaWorks' own take on the concept and throw this in.

 

 

Addendum: Speaking of the Emperor and VanillaWorks, as a fan of the Brougham, I'm a little saddened by the way they've decided to use the Brigham name for an 80s Caprice Classic. I do like it, but my heart lies with Cadillac.

I really really liked the Spyker. You came up with a good mix that's better than the original! That's a vehicle that I want to get in GTA.

The Shi tzu Omocha is based on the Autozam AZ-1, also known as Suzuki Cara: 

 

The Shi tzu Chum was a "joke car" meant to be based on the Suzuki X-90 (believe it or not, this is a SUV lol):

 

The Omocha is actually a bit old sketch I've made to a friend. I really liked how the model turned out, so I decided to get rid of the Chum and remade that sketch instead. 

I may change my mind in the future and make the Chum, I don't know...

And this X-90 SUV is similar to Renault Kwid and Honda WR-V. They're not SUVs at all hahahaha

Gosh! I've just realized that my sketch gallery just made one year today!

"How time fwies!", as Elmer Fudd would say...

 

I still don't believe how my topic grew over the months!

Something that started as a simple pastime, it became some sort of "passion", haha.

 

Once again, I'd like to thank you all for the support! All the comments, suggestions and constructive criticism mean a lot to me.

Stay tuned for more sketches to come!

 

And to "celebrate" this occasion, I'd like to share with you guys some old sketches I've done way before this topic has been created, along with my only bike sketch done (which isn't in the topic anymore) and the Grotti GT500 Spyder, which has been replaced by the Grotti Deimos!

Happy one-year anniversary, SilentSoul! It's been a real pleasure browsing your work and seeing all the visitors to this little slice of the Forums. I'm looking forward to whatever else you have in store for us, in the current working list and beyond! I personally appreciate your attention to variation - everything from the Dementia to the Admiral Classic to the Zion Classic LM to the Apoc - it's fantastic.

 

And, who knows? Maybe by this time next year, we'll have your sketches realized in-game, whether it be by the good graces of those wonderful modders or the mysterious hands of those at Rockstar North...
