Time out question

Yes I know if I make my character watch TV or the security camera I won't be kicked until my Xbox turns off but what are the official time out rules sometimes it's 2 minutes sometimes it's 15

Afk for more than 15 minutes in real time and not watching security cameras/TV will get you kicked.

but..in some jobs, it's 3 minutes, you only get notifed you'll be kicked in 2 minutes after spending the first minute doing nothing.

do you know what type of jobs? I've never seen it lower than 15 mins unless I alt tab to another program, and as a father i'm a pro at going afk.

 

These days when i go afk i sit in a car, turn on cinematic view, then turn the steering wheel and go afk. So much prettier to see my vehicles, it's like a custom GTAO screensaver

I think just deathmatches and adversary modes.. I don't go AFK often in them enough to know for sure.. lol

I'm pretty sure adversary mode is 3 minutes. In OR I'd get a warning all the time when I was sitting there waiting for the high fliers to land.

Related note: on XB1, tabbing out to the Xbox Guide starts a 3 minute kick timer that boots you if you don't enlarge the game within that time frame.
