I have a medium warehouse that I don't use anymore, so maybe I can get some money back by trading it for a small one. Is this possible? I don't want to click buy on that small warehouse only to get that added to my warehouse list and 300k taken from my bank account....

You can only trade for equal size or larger. Anyway, if you were to trade for another medium or a large, it would give you the option of adding it to an empty slot or trading in your existing warehouse.

It is wrong that you can't downgrade. If I'd bought five large, I may legitimately want to trade one in the a medium in a different location. You can downsize properties, so...
