Modders Framing Other People

Okay so I was in a session earlier, and apparently there was a modder who could get people to kill other people. My friend was just standing around and all of a sudden it said that he blew up 3 other people across the map.

He also did it with other people. As a random person of his choice would just instantly blow up other people.

How are you supposed to combat this?

You could get banned for something you didn't even do.

Telling them it's not you only works if they believe if you. If they don't you will still be reported, and many will report regardless of how they respond if they do at all. It's best to just flee as fast as you can.

Sadly the only thing you can do is quickly say something nasty to them in the chat, and then leave the session asap, to avoid any false reports.

Just run quickly, otherwise you could get reported falsely.

They'll be smart enough to know it wasn't you after it keeps happening

It's not a new. It was happening for a long time.
The only thing that new for me, is that modders can crash your game.

Ahm, why not? If I was to use hacks fairly recently and then I'd be at the risk of literally like 10-30 people that wish to report me, I would do everything I can to avoid that. Every hack is pretty much detectable the moment someone actually reports you.

 

Also, I never assumed he did, I only suggested a solution to a situation where that is actually the case.
