piracy prevention needs insurance protection.

Hell, you could parachute onto the top of one of the APCs, put down some stickies and shoot the f*cker as he desperately tries to get out ;)

Then he'd respawn in a worse place, of course, because rockstar.

2 apcs can cross cover each other, and i really doubt if have survived parachuting.

anyway, this isn't about my tactics, it's about paying 20k to prevent yourself being farmed by a bulletproof rear vehicle that has the firepower of a savage.

also, free mode work can be really irritating at times for other ceos. hostile can be active without anyone knowing and gives the host insurance protection to grief with. headhunter can be used the same way if you just leave 1s before the end which they all do. and stand your ground and piracy are just plain rediculous imo now there's an explosive sniper that nulifies hydra attacks. i used to really like giving ground support.

OP just mad because he got out smarted and out played so he came here to create a thread to cry about it.

He has every reason to complain, when clearly that is very unbalanced. There are some very absurd features in the VIP Works:

Piracy prevention is the only VIP Work where you pay vehicle insurance. This idea is really absurd since the first day. Then you were a bad player for destroying Blazer Aqua or Technical Aqua, and now you pay the 20,000 insurance for APC.

You can't snipe correcty with the Heavy Sniper MKII from the yacht. (This is not related to VIP Work, but is an impediment).

The yacht's respawn is bugged. It has an easy solution but many don't know it. Although this is beneficial for those who attack the yacht, but for those who started the VIP Work is a nuisance.

Piracy prevention: players can join to the Seasharks and helicopters of the beach in Passive mode (LOL).

If somebody active Sightseer, no one else in the session can pick up TBS.

If somebody active Haulage, and does't approach to the location of the truck, he has 20 minutes without anyone noticing that there is a VIP Work. So, no insurance and police.

The Fully Loaded Ruiner 2000 is really OP. And I love playing with him, but is unbalanced.

Fortified: I'm more afraid of the NPC than the players. NPC enemies are very annoying.

If someone activates one of the 8 new VIP Work and you don't participate, when the Work is completed, you will not be able to activate any of these 8 VIP Works until after 5 minutes, but you can activate the others Works.

No it didn't, you still don't pay for other ppl pvs you destroy. You pay only for yours.

. You pay only for yours.

And only free mode+contact missions, not during Heist setups.

Depending on how they were placed I can think of a few ways of getting on the yacht without having to blow up the apcs. That's the great thing about a sandbox with so many toys available. Improvise, adapt, and overcome.

Why capturing the yacht? When i get involved in piracy prevention, i use it to farm some spawnkills. :)

Snipe, parachute in, use your own apc, depending where they're located you could swim in. If you want to be cheap get on the yacht while passive.

I really wanna know how players get their apc's on the helipads.

Cargobob?

I just mind my own business. Surprisingly that doesn't cost me 20k in insurance fees. Crazy right?

Nothing personal, but I hate this concept that someone starting PP or Headhunter or whatever is entitled to be left alone. You start a PvP mode in a public session damn f*cking right I have the option to get involved - this isn't blowing up crates or being an outright dick like that, it's simply accepting an invitation to achieve an objective. And yet I get sh*t like this;

PS OP correct answer is above-the-clouds off-radar paratrooper assault directly at the capture area :D

PPS can't you dock the APC at your yacht?

This is why R* should allow CEO/MC work in invite/solo sessions to avoid this perpetual circle jerk lol

The cargobob can't lift the apc though.

^ Technically, it can hook the APC, It can evern drag the APC in the water, however, you can't lift it high enough to deliver the APC to a helipad.

My guess, they could try to use another APC as a ramp (to simply jump to the Yacht), I didn't have a chance to check it with APCs, but it works pretty well with boats:

their apcs would still be insured

sniping only gets you so far

For different reasons, I have to agree with the OP

It is just f*cking stupid that Piracy Prevention charges you insurance..... but any other VIP work doesn't
