It doesn't make sense that people in CEO orgs can blow up PVs with no consequence but other players cannot destroy the PVs of the org without paying insurance.

I assume they were floating on the water, right?

- Take a jet, go off the radar

- Jump to the front of the Yacht

- Make sure there is no proximity mine in the capture area

- Capture

 

If these guys picked the angle so well, that they can obliterate the capture area right from the water, make a second attempt, then write "gg, well prepared", teleport to your appartment and mind your own business. No need to close the application.

 

The point is - the brutal force is not always a good option. Why did you blow up the APC in the first place?

I have guarded the Yacht with APC myself and I know that it has weaknesses

1) If you have a SAM battery, every shot will rocket-push the APC away, messing with your angle of attack

2) It's ok to move forward, but it's very hard to turn this thing when it's on water

3) It's the sloooowest thing when it comes to reverse. It's nearly impossible to reverse with APC in the water

The apc is good to attack the yatch, so use that when you have at least 2 friends, one drives, one fires and the other captures.

If you see a yatch that is being defended by 2 apcs.. just leave them be man.. you do not need to do every thing the game asks you to do..

I find it hilarious that you can blow stuff up using military gear, kill people and destroy npc cars but when you destroy another players vehicle your insurance company knows it was you, plus they charge you for it even though the vehicle you're causing mayhem with is insured with them aswell.

 

R* obviously don't know **** about insurance. Mors should be shut down!

Nothing personal, but I hate this concept that someone starting PP or Headhunter or whatever is entitled to be left alone. You start a PvP mode in a public session damn f*cking right I have the option to get involved - this isn't blowing up crates or being an outright dick like that, it's simply accepting an invitation to achieve an objective. And yet I get sh*t like this;

There's a good point here in that the OP has a choice, and presumably everyone knows these vehicles have insuranace to be paid.

This however is a good point in that PP is annoying for other players in that it can block other work from being launched for 10 min. At least with HH you know it'll be over quick.

 

I think it would be better if R* enabled it so one of each type of job could be running (I guess it would be messy for multiple jobs of the same type - e.g. 4 groups all doing HH. I don't see why you couldn't have PP and HH running in the same session though).

Ahh so that's why the Dodo occasionally starts having a super seizure when someone gets into it near my yacht.

 

Just imagine that happening with a proper flying boat like the PBY Catalina. I think it would go into the fourth dimension.

To get it back on topic though, those APCs would've had no chance if someone parachuted in to capture, as the gun depression and elevation is laughably bad most of the time.
