Car import & export use cargobob and/or buzzard?

New to the car import and export. I read the cargobob is really helpful for getting to cars to steal them and then getting the car back to your warehouse?

 

Then I read the buzzard was also good to get you to the cars you are stealing and that helped a lot also?

 

Wondering from anyone using these if they make things a lot easier?

Both.

 

If you don't have buzzard, get it first though. You WILL have missions that involve using a Cargobob and a Buzzard.

Only time o can't drop the car on the dot is when the dot is under the canopy, so, I drop it on the road outside, and drive it in

Actually you don't ever need to drop the car with the cargobob, you just need to get close enough and then the game takes over and automatically delivers the car for you. This also applies to collecting a car as well as deliveries

So, if I hover above the canopy, yellow dot under the canopy, it will still deliver the car if I am low enough?

I mostly fly to the car I have to steal with the buzzard, then drive it to the vehicle warehouse. The buzzard is very fast, and you can spawn it in front of your nose as CEO so it's always available.

 

You can also choose to take the Cargobob, fly to the car you have to steal, pick it up and fly it to your vehicle warehouse. It flies a lot slower than the buzzard, but an advantage is that you're being less bothered by NPC (bots).

 

When I sell a car, I only consider a Cargobob when I'm alone in a session, since you get NPC trying to shoot you while delivering. When more ppl are in the session, you don't get NPC.

If you own the Warehouse in La Mesa and have to drive to the destination (either by choice, or you don't own a cargobob(or its too damaged/destroyed to use) , then there is an alley between 'Fridgit Frozen Foods' and the 'Tractor Factory'.

The video below shows how to avoid your export vehicle from receiving any damage from the 4 waves of NPC attackers when delivering by road.
(Remember to cling to the wall on the right when entering the alley in your car to avoid triggering the NPC's too early)

Thanks for that, I tried it on importing and exporting, the only export one I used to drop the car was where the dot was under the canopy

 

Got it very low, just above the canopy, it worked

i've never used the buzzard, but if you're in a friendly loby and are a good driver it would be faster than bobbing
