Smeximus
Truffade Nero Custom or Pfister 811 or Elegy Retro Custom (I know, I know, it's not a supercar)? Please compare the top speed, handling, and performance. P.S. Please also state which is the best for city races (like races right in the streets of Los Santos). 811 has highest top speed of any car, by a long margin, but has very difficult handling. Nero is great all around but its size can be a problem in city races. Elegy retro has great handling and acceleration but poor top speed. It's arguably the quickest car in traffic, regardless of class. For city racing I'd take either elegy, tempesta, or xa21. Thanks bro! Do you know how much I will need to fully upgrade the Nero Custom (like how much money I'll need to pick the best upgrade in every category) and---if you can/know---how much I will need to fully upgrade the Elegy Retro Custom. Thx!

Smeximus
What about the Sultan RS, can it beat or let alone compete with the Elegy Retro Custom? Edited August 19, 2017 by Smeximus
Arrows to Athens
What about the Sultan RS, can it beat or let alone compete with the Elegy Retro Custom? Well, both aren't in the same class as each other, so you will never be able to race them together unless you modded or something. In terms of lap time, they aren't that far apart, with only a two second lap time difference in Broughy's track testing (The Elegy Retro Custom being quicker). In terms of top speed, the Sultan RS is 2 mph faster. In conclusion, yes, the Sultan RS can definitely compete with the Elegy Retro Custom, and that's if they could race against each other. The RS should have been a sports car, to be honest. Interesting, though. Edited August 19, 2017 by Arrows to Athens

Huha
I don't know the exact amount but in order from cheapest to most expensive: 811, ERC, Nero custom. If I were you, I'd get the Nero custom. It's a great all rounder. The ERC is a great car but it has 2 massive weaknesses: top speed and price. The 811 is a difficult car to drive, very sluggish but the acceleration and top speed is great. The 811 do not like corners at all

Thx!Not sure but figure about 300k or so on top of the purchase price, depending on how wild u get with the cosmetic mods. Especially the ERC, it has a metric sh*t ton of options so it can get spendy if you're not careful. Try scrolling all the way down the wikia page, it should have it listed under gtav. Another option is just skip the custom version and use the slightly faster elegy. Maybe not as nice to drive but it is FAST, like super beating fast, especially in traffic, which is where u want to use it if I understand correctly. Nero is a great car but I'd only go that route if u wanna use it in stunt races, you don't need that top speed in free roam, and it's a big car, so not as nice in tight traffic. Doable though. autofanatic
I know I'm asking for a lot, but could some kindly calculate how much it will cost to fully upgrade each of the three vehicles that I stated? You don't need to, but I'll really appreciate it if you do You can look for the video from youtube to see that upgrade prices.
jwdrinkwaterjr
I went supercar shopping this weekend, and picked up the Itali GTB for future customization at Benny's. It was just under 1.2 million. If I was going to spend the big bucks I'd have to get the Nero Custom. I hadn't tried it ever until yesterday. That car is like having an easy button for races. Just hold down the throttle all the way around the course. It handles like nothing else I've ever used in this game.

Forza Harrd
I raced my Turismo R in a stunt race last night and finished on the podium. I forgot how magically delicious that car handled. If you want fast cars for free roam on a budget, Turismo R for the Super class and Elegy RH8 (not the ERC) for Sports class and Akuma (also a podium finisher every time I race it) for Motorcycle. The only better ways to travel are Insurgent, CEO Buzzard, and Hydra. And they aren't cheap. (note: my fastest street personal vehicle in the game is currently Gargoyle Motorcycle with Web wheels doing a wheelie. They are slightly glitched and very fast. Faster than an 811 and way cheaper.) coelacanth72
^ I ran a Turismo R for a looong time, still probably have more wins in that thing than anything else, but it just doesn't have the top speed for most stunt races. It was a monster in the good ol days before Mario cart though. Agreed about the bikes, more than sports or supers the moldy oldies have really held up over the years. I have all the fast bikes, but I'll usually go for the Bati or akuma over the shotaro or the drag. It's good to have options. Have u figured out how to keep the gargoyle under control with the webs? That things my favorite
