The Pegassi Tempesta or the Dewbauchee Vagner?

Trying to figure out which one has the better handling and performance at the best price.

Still have the same tempesta from the day it was available.

 

Not sure if others agree but I think the Tempesta is a safe bet.

If I were you, I would be buying the Tempesta. The car feels very balanced and can handle almost anything you throw at it.

 

The Vagner for me, will always be a garage queen.

the vagner for me. i love that car. it is becoming one of my favorites. it is the super car i use the most. it also looks cool too. and since its 25% off right now i recommend getting it now.

Tempesta is pretty damn good for racing, even when versing the higher end cars in the class.

 

I can't really judge the Vagner for racing, I haven't used it for that yet.

Bought a Vagner twice and sold therm forever. Sold my Tempesta once and I missed it like hell.

For stunt racing Vagner, for everything else tempesta. Tempesta is too slow for stunt races, great for the old races though. I don't believe I've ever seen one win a stunt race. Top speed aside, it's quicker and handles better than just about everything else.

Go for the tempesta it handles way better than the vagner, vagner only wins in top speed, i usually use the tempesta for racing, but if you want something more you can go for the nero custom or T20

Vagner all the way, a little harder to control on tight bumpy tracks but you'll get better lap times 8 out of 10 times no matter what track once you learn how to drive it. I use the Vagner for most super car races except on stunt races with tubes, etc, there the x80 is the best. I never liked the tempesta and it just collects dust in my garage...

Tempesta. Fun to drive, great cornering ability, screaming engine. Both exterior and interior looks perfect.

 

Vanger's interior looks awful to me, and the steering wheel looks cheap. But it is a very competitive car, not the best cornering car but still it is no slow ride, also high topspeed, great in long highway race

 

 

Pretty much Hypercar vs Supercar. The small bull or the Aston Martin F1 roadcar.

that´s a tough decision to make.

if you only want to (stunt)race , then go for the Vagner , a bit tricky and difficult to handle in the small corners, but very grippy in the long big ones . and It has the top speed as well.

if you want a fast , beautiful super for the free roam , then definitely the Tempesta . it´s still the best looking super IMO and it handles like a dream , pity the top speed isn t that great .

the vagner is the new RE-7B , with a higher Top speed and (IMO) just slightly worse cornering abilities -than the pre-nerfed RE-7B- (especially in the tight small corners) .

the Tempesta would excel in regular races , but in stunt races , where you need Top Speed as well , the Vagner beats it ....

after the addition of the Vagner I now alternate between 4 Supers in all stunt races : Vagner, X80 , 811 and Nero Custom ... but my Nero Custom is definitely the most homogeneous and I use it in 80% of my races

I use X80 for speed/technical too but really depends on my mood if I want to make her scream and if I want to deal with the weight. I love everything about it, it can just either make or break your win in one f*ck up.

 

E: You're edit elaborated part of my question.. I use the Nero Custom a lot but not as much as the X80. Obviously Broughy's test are good and all.. I just wanna know other peoples experience on multiple tracks..

according to me , the Nero Custom is still king. it´s the most homogeneous of them all.

I tested my 4 relevant supers in most of the stunt races (vagner, X80, 811, nero custom) . the Nero custom excel in all stunt races , but The Vagner gives it a run for the money in technical races like Vespucci , or even pier race . the X80 kills them all in Green Machine or Chilliad (God I HATE that stunt race !!!), and so does the 811 in plummet (especially plummet II) and even Lift off... for the rest of the stunt races , my beloved Nero custom was simply the fastest ... and IMO it s the best supercar for the stunt-tubes (and not the X80 , it slides way more , it s too light -exactly the same problem with the vagner-)

that was my testing though , I´m on PC .... you just have to "know and understand" your racers , then you´ll be able pick the right one for every type of stunt races

The Vagnor is the best all rounder great traction and great top speed lacks a little on acceleration.

The Tempester loves technical tracks and it is the best value super car in the game it is super cheap but not much top speed.

For Stunt Racing and similar tracks, you want the Vagner. Otherwise, for twisty, tight tracks, go for the Tempesta.

I have a Tempesta but I don't use it all for racing because I also have an X80 and a Nero Custom and an Itali GTB. Hard to break into the rotation with those cars around.

 

I don't have a Vagner on my main racing character but I have lost a few races to them. I think they're competitive.

I was having problems with my main's X80 til I copied my 2nd's set-up: Max spoiler and performance cosmetic upgrades (front bumoer etc) and stock wheels. People tell me the X80 responds well to offroad tires but the stock wheels work for me in my stunt racing. I'm not sliding in the tubes.

Vagner is good for stunt races, but the problem is that being rwd, it simply get killed in the tubes by the likes of nero/x80.

That was my problem with the Tempesta. It was an free roam "easy button" to the point of not being much fun. I also disliked its customization options, they both went too far and not far enough.

Problem is the new Ocelot kind of takes the crown from the Tempester for the more technical tracks, so as much as I love the tempester last Tuesday it has sort of lost its place on my racing roster.

But it still is the best value car in the game and is still usable on the right type of track.

811 has highest top speed of any car, by a long margin, but has very difficult handling. Nero is great all around but its size can be a problem in city races. Elegy retro has great handling and acceleration but poor top speed. It's arguably the quickest car in traffic, regardless of class.

 

For city racing I'd take either elegy, tempesta, or xa21.
