Short version: ask @X S, he created it/ran it the last three times.

Longer version: X S actually wonderered if I'd be up for running it, since he's no longer as active in GTAO circles or on the forums - I said 'in theory I could', but seeing as I've already had to postpone a couple of other forum things because of ongoing health issues (plus I'm also quite a bit less active in GTAO than I used to be - see Quinn's post above for one of the many, many reasons this game is wearing my patience/enjoyment into powder...), for one thing, I'd have to get X S to send me EVERYTHING from previous years (spreadsheets, rule sets, that kind of thing) so I could get it together quickly. I'm in less of a position to draw all that up from scratch than I was when X S originally brought up the idea, basically.

I do have ideas for it - extra safeguards for transparency, and against foul play, plus some folk I think would make for good possible guest judges - and someone on standby to do the graphics for each time. Not sure about the cash card reward for the winner - again, I'd have to see how X S handled that and do similar. All of that'll probably make a lot more sense with all the details from previous years in front of me.

It's not not happening - again, like I said above, X S has said he's almost definitely not running it himself this year, so if anyone is, it'll be someone he's given the go-ahead to do it instead.

 

Possibly me (real world stuff permitting), possibly someone else - it'll have to be a bit later this time around, but it's not 'cancelled' or anything just yet.
