removed1234
I just got a new computer and downloaded GTA IV, but whenever I start it up, it gets stuck on the first screen (2006-2009 Rockstar Games Inc.) And I have to restart my computer, and on the rare occasion that I can get in the game, the resoltion is extremely squished and the GFWL text is incredibly small. Is there a fix? My old computer ran Windows 8.1 and it ran fine, but now I run Windows 10 and it breaks. Any suggestions? Do I have to downgrade to Windows 8? ViceBoy69
I dont run GTA4 from steam but i can say that GTA4 has issues with Win10 it can be a little difficult to get it to install but when it does its fine. I dont know if this is related to your problem but there is plenty of advice on here and google telling you how to get GTA4 to run on win10 and how to get round steam issues, good luck
Le Pro Noob
Use patch 7. And try the commandline for running it in windowed mode at full resolution.
