LM > Tyrus, ETR & Re-7b.

 

Prototypes > X80 & Vagner.

 

Supers > All the rest.

Something like wot IceDree said, although I'd be happy simplifying it down to Hyper, Super, Classic Super, and 'Motorsports' or 'Extreme Track Toys' (borrowing one from Forza! ) for the thoroughbred racing cars - but only if R* actually made them handle like proper track cars (so 'only as a though exercise', then... ).

 

In other words, in an ideal world, R* could* probably afford to take the new older supers out of Sports Classics and into 'Classic Super', put some lower-performance supers into Sports, perhaps (and likewise put some Sports things into Super), take the envelope-pushing stuff and create a 'Hyper'/'Extreme' class, and maybe tweak performance of things like the GP1 to make them a bit more realistic/accurate.


*yeah, it's unlikely they actually can, and so it's never going to happen - but if nothing else, they really ought to make that kind of separation if they plan on adding those kinds of cars into the next GTA game...

I wouldn't want a racing car class with just 2 or 3 cars in it.

 

T20, Nero, Tyrus, RE7B, ETR, X80, FMJ, Tempestra, Osiris, 811.

 

I'm not sure why Rockstar continues to mess with vehicle mechanics, changing the speed of some cars.

Supers is fine the way it is. They need to fix matchmaking and quit screwing around with cars' performance. Adding more classes means you have even fewer choices of class locked stunt tracks, which is all you can get into anymore. Bring on gran turismo.

X80 obviously. Vagner, T20, 811, RE7b, Adder, Nero, and Oh yeah I included the Turismo R and the Osiris because of what they represent in my imagination.

 

edit: on hard second thought and self examination I decided to include the versions of the F1, the GP1 and Tyrus. The F1 is my original thought of a hypercar, still really unmatched.
