Depth or stereo image from GTA.

Hey guys, I am new to modding. I am trying to extract depth or stereo images from GTA V. Is there any existing pluginn for it? Is there any native function to do that?

Don't think there is a mod for this yet. Can you tell a bit more what you want to use it for?

 

There is no native identified for stereo or depth images, so I guess you need to use direct memory access

There are natives for creating custom camera (CAM::CREATE_CAM_WITH_PARAMS). But as far as I know only one of these can render at a time.

(you might be able to swap back and forth between two camera)

 

There are also natives for ray tracing (WORLDPROBE::_CAST_RAY_POINT_TO_POINT), which may be relevant

I want to create a video, which can be seen using a normal cardboard box.

 

I have explored the options which you have suggested. I am able to take screenshot of game (from msdn). However, between rendering two cams back and forth, i still get the same image :-( .

 

Is there any mod to take picture from different camera (manually created)?

 

Also, you mentioned something about direct memory access. Can you give me a bit more information about it? Where can i find more material on it?
