I won't hide it, I've used the Oppressor in freemode events and won most if not all of them. Do I feel bad? Not really. If you can use a Tank, Savage, Hydra or Buzzer in Criminal Damage event why can't I use the Oppressor in other events? I highly doubt Rockstar will do anything about it.

I believe it's the contrary, jets can be easily dealt with a two explosive bullets from my sniper, they are not an issue anymore.

 

On the hand, the Opressor ruins many aspects of the game due to being overpowered, has that insurance and bad sports points bullsh*t and is, overall, not fitting with the rest of the game, even if the bike is meant to be an reference to an obscure 80's TV show that the majority of the player base never heard about.

What actually ticks me off the most about this isn't actually the Oppressor it's that it's shows C* and T2 that having these ridiculously OP vehicles in the game works and has no major negativity towards it. So in the end they're just gonna keep on making sh*t like this and then charge a crazy amount of money for it to make this already pay2win game even worse

Not in my experience. But then again when I am on the oppressor which is often I make a beeline to the jet and blast away.

I used to nearly always win Challenges anyway, and now I can do it on the vehicle I probably had out anyway.

 

It's moved the goalposts but the challenge is still there.

 

PS you forgot Checkpoints (air or ground), this thing f*cking demolishes that. I'd still beat "me" in a Besra though.

I love hunting anything with my jets.

 

The only thing that can get me out of the air on a consistent basis is the explosive sniper.

As for the opressor, more then enough noobs that fly in a straight line and eat my infinite rockets or fall of their bike every 5 minutes...and in general...most of them need to land sometime anyhow.

 

At worst i am gonna be bussy for dozans of minutes before i take them out.

 

Seriously...unpopulair opinion here, but though they really are a worthy investment of money, the opressor is overrated.

The problem is that R* are always trying to go bigger and better and crazier with each update. High Life - Executives and Other Criminals - Finance and Felony - Bikers - Import Export - Gunrunning. The moment they released the special vehicles in the Import/Export update, there was no turning back. "We've gotta add more guns to the vehicles!" they said. Who knows what'll be next; Aliens? Be a James Bond bootleg? Join the army? I can't imagine R* doing anything that isn't over-the-top cus it would probably just be forgotten about like the Lamar Missions (Do they have any replay value? I forget they exist sometimes). A Cops and Robbers update would be good, but I imagine being a policeman would pay next to nothing and wouldn't make any sense considering every player is probably a wanted criminal.

The missiles can be evaded, you have a limited supply of them, yet too small and too often in the air for a jet cannon to reliably hit (I think the joke that is aircraft-mounted missiles don't need explanation). That's my personal experience with Oppressors - you're just a much more mobile Homing Launcher that I can't quite hit unless I catch you landing.

 

No thanks, I'd rather be worried about the real threat called Explosive Heavy Sniper or maybe FL Ruiners if I'm to take it to the skies these days.

^ Blowing up Oppressors is even easier than Jets. At first, I used cannon against them, but now I just shoot them with homing missles - the bike can't dodge the missles coming from the back. They don't have any Jet-style evading techniques.

 

1) Gain high altitude before engaging the bike.

2) Fly right above the bike on this altitude

3) Make sure the bike is flying and dive, so you aproach it from the back

4) Shoot missles (open areas) or cannon (too close for a missle, too low to the ground) depending on the situation

The Oppressor is the bridge between GTA V and Online to Red Dead Redemption 2.

I understand the problems with it, but I still love it. It has breathed new life into this game.
