R* has jumped the shark card with this game and is literally adding fantasy vehicles that makes no f*cking sense in a game that is meant to be at least a little bit based in reality.

So a hover car wouldn't be out of place here, we already got a rocket powered glide bike, a rocket powered eletric car and a muscle car that can jump and deploy parachutes.

A hover car would be more realistic than any of the special vehicles; would love to be able to spawn a CEO Moller Skycar (although R* would probably make it non-passive and fit it with lasers).

So does this new armored SUV thing suck or what?

In terms of its peashooter guns and protection from gunfire, yes.

In terms of armour, ramming-power, speed, torque, and customization, no.

what a lot of bull the new overtime is, the other one is better, having to wait for 9 morons to fcuk up their turns before you can have a go, not a chance.

overtime is one of the most easiest things on gta, youll get more points by keeping it simple than trying to be a clever d!ck, so why is there so many idiots not capable of getting points on the board.

Because GTA is full of kids that don't understand the concept of strategy, I consistently go for number 4 and land it every time. One moron yesterday went for number 5 when we only needed 3 points. What happened? You know what happened...

I wouldn't say it sucks, but it's definitely nothing to marvel over IMO.

Shark cards aren't a tax they are 100% optional. If shark cards are a tax then explain why after four years I have yet to be charged for not buying one? If I went four years without paying taxes the Feds would have already been at my door and they would most likely now own my house while they sat me down at club Fed.

How is it crazy? Explain to me how you have been forced to pay for a 100% optional microtransaction.

There are hundreds if not thousands of different business models so trying to claim there are only three is a bit naïve and shows you don't really understand what you are talking about.

Updates are free because the updates them selves include overpriced items to buy via in game currency. The in game currency can either be 'earned or purchased with real world money. But the rate at which it can be earned has been throttled.. And payouts and item prices are jacked up as high as possibe.

People need to stop with the whole 'ITS FREE" ...Its free for a reason.. It not just 'free'. If it was just free they would not be making money off it.

Never understand why people want to argue about it....lol

The Vagner lol

Yeah but how is it a space ship lol

Mainly because if I saw it in Star Wars it wouldn't look out of place.

Eh, I still don't see it. The X80 Proto looks crazier and nobody called it a space ship.

That's where you're incorrect. A lot of people called that a space ship too, me included.

Overtime shootout is the most unbearable garbage. Its like they said, ok you want help your who rubber bands during overtime rubble? Well see how patient you can be.

Its an obvious troll. And of course, almost all random lobbies are set to 4 rounds. How can anyone sit through this? You really have to desperate for $ to be in a 4 round match. This should be 1v1 only.

I'll never understand why so many people get upset at the idea of a business trying to profit off their product.

What people don't realize is the day games stop being profitable is the day games stop being made. Companies don't make games out of the goodness of their heart they do it to make a profit. You can complain about shark cards all you want but those shark cards you hate are the only reason the game is still being supported.

I normally try them out on weekends because thats when more people play them. I like to get the check marks. Some are bad, some are good, most of them are somewhat interesting. OT shootout seems to me is most likely a response to friends rubber banding their controllers.

Nothing wrong with a business wanting to make money. R* on the other hand does it in the most scummy way possible, jacking up the prices on items so you're either wasting away time to earn this car/property/item or buy a Shark Card. $5 million for a KITT expy that is inferior to other weaponized vehicles that cost less? Please. Not to mention R* made $1 Billion+ on GTA V and are still hungry for more dough whereas Witcher 3 didn't make nearly as much money yet still had room for "real" free DLC that was pretty awesome.

The other option is a Shark Card which the game is shoving in your face all the time in loading screens. Seriously, RedDagger's thread in my signature already explains why SC's are crap well enough.

So if someone who is very drunk or retarded at a bar buys a round for everybody at 20$ a shot and you get bottom-shelf rotgut nobody is getting ripped off because it's "free"? I am really baffled how anybody can still defend this garbage.

Its FREeEeeEEee... And????

The statement is roundabout implying that R* is giving us all this exciting and well thought out new content out of the kindness of their hearts and we should all be grateful for it, after all we don't HAVE to pay for it. Or perhaps implying "you get what you pay for" assuming those of us who call the current state of affairs shameful are savvy enough to not buy cash cards.

Also implying that we'll never get good games made again if we don't encourage these companies to take advantage of poor saps selling macro-transactions for lazy and broken "new" content.

Call me crazy but I LIKE the one-at-a-time feature of the new OT Rumble......b/c it basically enables you to go AFK while still making good money in the background.

Especially if you get to go early and get your run out of the way :)

Even if we subtract the amount R* needed to use for advertising and such, they still clearly made a crapton out of V/Online. Witcher 3 obviously didn't make nearly as much yet they gave out some pretty good content for less. You want to explain how a company that made $1 Billion initially (and who knows how much since) on a single game yet still milks it with copy-paste updates is on par with a dev team with less money that made $319 million initially and give out awesome DLC for free?

Hyper cars look like spaceships. I don't get how them being road legal changes anything about that statement.

It doesn't, but I wouldn't say that in a negative sense. Of course GTA is gonna have top-top-end cars, and if that's what they look like then so be it.

Partially they look like spaceships because we can do sh*t with materials and aerodynamics that 1950's spaceship artists could only imagine.
