Welcome to the nineteenth week of a forum game called the Weekly Vehicle Showdown. In this game, vehicles face off against each other in a forum poll. At the end of the week, the winner is crowned. The reign is short lived however, the following week, a random vehicle will be selected
to face off against the current champion. We will keep going until we cover every vehicle in GTA V and GTA Online, and have one overall champion. In the thread feel free to
discuss the positives and negatives of each vehicle, your opinions, facts, videos, pictures, whatever you like to strengthen your argument for why the vehicle you are voting
for deserves to win, and the other does not.

Rules:
If you post mulitiple photos or videos of any vehicle, use spoiler tags.
Do not go off topic. Discuss only the vehicles being voted on.
Be respectful of other peoples opinions.
Do not cheat; creating multiple accounts to vote, etc.
Do not vote based on the photos in the OP.
This is not a Snapmatic competition.

Have fun!

Classic mountain road tourer? Savage rally car? A car that thinks it's

a bird? The many faces of the Stirling GT arouses many

questions, but one thing that isn't in question is it's performance

accolades. Does it have the power to pull ahead of it's competition?

Or will the Stirling GT fade away much like it's door hinge design?

A legend rises from the ashes of a time

gone past. Long ago one import ruled the streets

and it has returned to redeem it's crown. One of the

most loved cars of yesteryear exploded back onto the

scene and became an instant favorite but can it be

the favorite this week?

May the best vehicle win.

I love the grace of the Stirling GT, but the Skyline is a 90's classic.

This is a tough choice, so I am going with the Stirling, but it is a very narrow winner for me.

Well.. tough choice... I'm a lover of european classic, but, the R33 is a legend and have a lot of option in the game (I own 3 of them.) so.. my last vote was for the stirling, this time i'll give a chance to the R33

I love them both but I have to go with the Elegy, it was asked for so much and Rockstar knocked it out of the park with the design and mod options.

To my own surprise, R* did an extremely great work with Elegy Retro. I think this car is a true masterpiece so far. A masterpiece with insane attention to each detail...

This was the hardest choice yet, but I had to go with the Elegy. I love the Stirling, and I especially love its real world counterpart, but I'm not terribly fond of a few of Rockstar's alterations. Meanwhile, there's nothing about the Elegy that I don't like; it's an absolutely perfect combination of an R32, R33 and R34. Not to mention that while I personally prefer sports classics over tuners, there are many good options for the former and very few for the latter. The Stirling doesn't feel like it's filling a niche, it just feels like it's yet another good sports classic; the Elegy does fill a niche, and it does so quite well.

Agreed - as much as I think the Stirling GT is one of the best cars of the entire HD era, the Elegy Retro is (IMO) one of the best cars in any GTA game. I like the clever blend of 300 SLR/SL for the Stirling, but the Elegy is the perfect mix/combination of R32, R33 and R34 - not just to look (and drive!) like an authentic Skyline GT-R, but also like the original Elegy from San Andreas. That they managed to get it right from every angle is just ...yeah, I'm still impressed, even months later.

(and also agree that the Elegy almost feels like it's having represent an entire niche of car culture all by itself - good thing it's more than up to the job!)

It's a hard one - both are great cars, based in turn on important, iconic, record-breaking real-life cars, but it's between 'one of my top 5' and 'my undisputed number 1', coming from my particular automotive niche.
