Character hacked?

Something strange is happening to my son's character. Suddenly his quick job list is unavailable, the only thing that isn't on the map is job icons. Also for some reason he got a bunch of new guns. Hope he doesn't have to delete his character.

Normally switching sessions would get rid of the cheated weapons. If not, did you try restarting the game or clearing the cache? or verify the files if you're on PC?

what system? what rank? you can hide stuff on the minimap by using the interaction menu feature hide options.

It's 360. Just so I'm clear, my son hasn't "cheated" or "modded" anything.

He is rank 300 something as well.

360 is full of modders, Just switch sessions/restart game and everything will be fine

Well I guess I fixed it. Deleted his character. Joined a random job. Everything seems ok for now.

You must be kidding. That's what your son's gonna say if you actually delrted his character instead of taking a logical approach.

Well switching sessions and restarting wasn't working so he was in agreement to start over. So if it happens again, what would be the logical approach?

you could have deleted the 360 cache and restart the console, that's what i used to do when i used to play the 360 version of gta 5 online, but i'm now on xbox one.

but it's true your son was most likely the victim of modders.
