The Background script is causing this error, it's not a limit or anything like that.

It's related to cheaters messing with script events as there's no way to completely stop them, they limit the events forcing cheaters to spam them.

They use this "limit" to prevent them from spamming it.

I don't think contacting R* support would help you with anything, they won't disclose info to the public about their detection methods.

Would doing a job/heist/race or something else that requires a load reset this? You would be leaving the lobby then returning basically.

What the hell is happening here? This is really bad... today we did 3 business sales (2 me and 1 some friends) and each time no one except the owner of the bunker was payed. We sold as MC and the payout should've been around 64-65k, which indeed appeared after that transaction error but was not deposited to the bank. They are really hurting legit players here, it's a shame...

^ Same here. Did some sales today with friends as an associate and got the "transaction failed" message all the time, the game then showed me that I've received the 60k+ payout but it wasn't deposited into my bank account. One of my friends who tried to sell his full bunker with us had to do it again because the game said "nope, do it again"... This is really screwed up. -.-

This is not new and I doubt that it's related to the original post.

See, there are at least TWO types of the "transaction failed" messages

The first one follow the pattern and it's related to the cheat prevention system if the information in this thread is correct, while I believe the second one is completely random. At least, I don't think that the first error should appear several times in the row.

Yes (for me, the first picture). Mrs. Buzz on this forum also had the "transaction failed" message while she was an associate like me. We even switched the session - it was still there. But all of our sales were successful for the respective CEO/President, except the one I mentioned.

My second Gunrunning sale always ends with an transaction-error.

Gunrunning sales transaction error for the seller= you bought supplies and launched a sale.

 

Buy supplies after you performed the sale mission to be safe. You should'not attempt a sale while supplies are coming to your bunker.

 

Or there is a third Transaction Error type?

I think it was the first message but i'm not 100% aure cause I rushed to see if I got paid.

Only prospects weren't paid each time and I know about the bug of buying supplies before starting the sale but no one bough them.

Have they forgot to increase the cap for MC prospects maybe?

Got the first message with the too many requests also recently, did my own sales and later helped friends, did no VIP work inbetween. Also the shown money was not added to my bank account.

 

Second one is the still unfixed version when you start a sale before your purchased supplies have arrived - this comes even if they arrive during the sale.

Got that error too yesterday after helping a friend with selling his weapons stock. I was supposed to get 70k from it, instead I got that message and no money deposited to my account. Never even did VIP/biker work or sales before that.

 

My crew buddies who were also here to help also got the error and no money. Bunker owner didn't report any error message.

So it's pretty much confirmed, you won't receive any money if you help your friend selling a bunker as MC. Wow they fked up pretty bad... I wonder if there is any workaround for that, other than getting peanuts when selling as CEO
