Hey everyone. Earlier, I made a post about GTA Online, basically saying it sucked, because of all the stuff in it being too expensive or grindy, and how awesome it would be if they brought mods back, but I wasn't really being constructive with it. With this I'm actually gonna try to, I guess make it constructive. So without further ado, this is my speech on how to make gta online a little better.

GTA Online is a great game. Throughout the years, it's amassed numerous crews and players and a plethora of content. Over the years, I've really enjoyed the time that I've had with my friends going through these tough missions and even just by myself exploring the vast world of San Andreas. Although, there was always one problem I ran across during the time I've played this game. And it wasn't the occasional griefer, surprisingly as much as it was money troubles. I constantly had to do missions and sell cars. I never had that many friends to play gta with. Most of them that I did have moved onto other projects like Overwatch or Call of Duty. It's not like hooking up with randoms for an elaborate heist is a good idea either. Much less if you're trying to do one of the challenges for a huge payout in the end. The point is, that it's kinda hard to make money unless you constantly do missions or buy sharkcards. I get it. Rockstar is a business. Their goal is to make money, same as any other business. Although, I do believe that some of these things that are on the market are a bit excessive when it comes to their asking price. A couple weeks ago, I wanted to get the half-track. After doing mission after mission, I finally amassed about 500,000. Still lightyears away from getting a halftrack. So I bought a shark card. Half track problems = solved. So I take it to the LS customs. Can't customize it without a bunker with a mobile operations center with a car customization thing. Buy more shark cards. Get the required stuff. Drive to my new bunker with MOC with my new Halftrack. Finally able to paint it a different color and customize it to my liking. (Luckily they were doing basically a buy one get one free offer on shark cards that week) I completed that goal, but in the end, it cost me 60 dollars. And if they weren't doing that offer, I'd have had to pay 120 dollars. I felt immediate buyer's remorse once I figured out just how much I'd spent and all that I had in the end was a nice looking half-track. I took what I had though and I basically learned not to spend much real life money and just do missions instead. Although, the prices were still too high. I wanted to buy a yacht the other day, and I saw the cheapest one for about 6,000,000 dollars. Some of these things are just massively overpriced. I think that the best way to fix this problem would be to really reduce the prices for these items. Like, maybe 1,000,000 for a super yacht itself and upgrades for 10,000 and only increase the price by 100,000 for each "better" variation like the pisces or the aquarius. (I prefer the orion, really). I also saw how just a trailer with what looked like an anti aircraft gun cost well over a million dollars. I just never understood why they charge so much money, but again they're a business. They're in it to make money just like anyone else. I think there should be kind of a limit though. I don't know if they'd ever change the prices of some of these things, even years down the road when gta online goes outta style like shag-carpeting and everyone else has moved onto the next big thing in rockstar games, but I just hope that there would be an effort to improve things from the way that they are. Another thing I just wanted to briefly mention were the missions in gta online, more specifically resupply jobs. I couldn't help but notice that most of the npcs that you are pitted against are just vastly overpowered and they just get plain annoying at times. I don't know why they couldn't just put normal NPCs with regular amounts of health and stormtrooper accuracy against you like they do in the story mode, but that's the way things went I guess. Let the chips fall where they may. Although, I do hope that they kinda tone it down with the unnecessary aggression. Anyway, I know you're all probably tired of hearing me babble, so this is where I'm gonna end it.

Thanks, I know it was kinda jumbled up to begin with so I can understand how that would make things a bit difficult to read.

The game is a Take2/Rockstar cash cow. It was made so people would get frustrated and then buy sharkcards, like you did. Congratulations, you got played.
