Ron only give me "Coasting" mission

Dear guys,

 

I have some issues (maybe a bug) that need some helps. :whistle:

 

1. When I call Ron to request mission, he will 100% give me the "Coasting" mission. :miranda: (As I know, "Coasting" is a mission from Martin. NOT FROM RON...)

2. After I finished the "Coasting" mission, Ron will NEVER send a Thanks-SMS to me. :panic: (Other NPC will send a Thanks-SMS to me after I finished the mission)

 

Did anyone encounter the same issue? How to fix it? Is it the cloud problem or something else?

The reason you're not getting an SMS after completing Coasting is because it is a corona mission (can be found on the dirt track near the government facility); none of which will send you an SMS after completing.

 

As for getting it from Ron, that's what got me stumped.

Because of this, I bought a house in Sandy Shores. (The one next to Trevor's house).

 

I hang around Trevor's house for a hour, but still cannot receive Ron's call...

 

Is there any checkpoint that I need to arrive in order to receive Ron's call? (such as Trevor's airport, etc..)

The reason you're not getting an SMS after completing Coasting is because it is a corona mission (can be found on the dirt track near the government facility); none of which will send you an SMS after completing.

 

As for getting it from Ron, that's what got me stumped.

That mission by itself is not a contact mission. It supposes to be triggered by yourself. So there will be no SMS after the mission..!!

call Ron and request a job then accept the invite he sends you, after that he'll never call again but you can start any contact mission via Pause > Online > Jobs > R* created > Contact missions.

You mean don't create a new character because of this which won't fix the problem? I am also afraid that the new character will still face the same problem...Indeed, like I said some people have crank up the volume while others coasting. It seems that there's no way to fix this right now. All I can do is keep playing and hoping that Rockstar will fix this bug some days...Or hoping that the bug will disappear when I have higher rank...

Safe to say this bug appeared with or just before the heist update. The last time I was able to play crank up the volume was early 2014

have you also encountered some bugs in your character? You cannot host the crank up the volume?
