Criminal Mastermind Crossover Redo

***This requires some creativity and thinking about your own GTA Online Character's story-line. If that doesn't interest you in any way, then don't even bother with this thread.***

 

Okay, so let's say you could your Character could redo the Criminal Mastermind Heist challenge but with any 3 fictional "street-level" characters you want. By street-level, I mean reasonably human to moderately superhuman level. For example, NO Superman, Goku and Thor as your three characters. Someone like Deadpool, Solid Snake, Harley Quinn, allowed though. Get it? Reasoning for your choices are optional, but appreciated.

 

For example, my Character would recruit these three Characters for the ride:

 

Point Man - F.E.A.R.

 

Jack Carver - Far Cry

 

Niko Bellic - GTA IV

Aight, I feel, I feel. My three would have to be

 

1. Marcus Holloway, WD2. I got my brains and technical skills.

2. The Punisher from War Zone, cause he kicked ass and gave no f*cks.

3. Lincoln Clay, Mafia 3. Just cause. Got my brawn.

 

First time I did criminal mastermind was with people I didn't know, all reasonably reta.... mentally incapacitated. But with those 3 right there? Including me? I could do it 10x and would if I got payed. I could do it by myself of they'd let me.

...granted, this is me thinking 'characters from movies which cover the same ground as GTA', but then, I'm not all that keen on having secret agents, costumed heroes (even those without superpowers), etc. I'm already pretty tired of GTAO veering ever further from more realistic stuff as it is, so I'd rather just stick to the best fictional criminals I can think of for a solid heist crew.

 

With that in mind, there's already my character, who's ...in over their head, usually:

 

 

Considering that the goal would be the full Criminal Mastermind run, covering everything from firefights to car chases, the team would need to be utterly no-nonsense and cool under pressure, with a decent level of proficiency in all areas (driving, shooting, etc.). Beyond that, there'd also need to be a bit of variety in specialisations, rather than have everyone as a 'jack of all trades, master of none'.

 

First call would be a seasoned point man - someone who's a consummate professional, brings a whole lot of experience from past jobs, and doesn't leave too many breadcrumbs for the authorities to follow. Neil McCauley (

) fits that description, and then some:

 

 

For the default getaway driver, someone with nigh-on-superhuman focus behind the wheel, who's also innately gifted when it comes to sourcing and boosting rides - I'd have to go with "young Mozard in a go-kart", himself: 'Baby' (

Finally, someone who covers all bases, and with unnatural calm - good for getting the job done without any undue fuss, serving as muscle where required, and another expert wheelman for whenever the team has to split up - that'd have to be 'The Driver' (

)

 

 

For the record, I did the actual Criminal Mastermind run with a bunch of GTAForums veterans (@Choppers, @wanes, and @X S) not long after Heists came out - did the whole thing in 8 hours, like clockwork, with no mics, and just a brief planning session via forum PMs. As far as videogame crews go, I couldn't have done it with a better team!

I was going to choose Prophet/Alcatraz/Nanosuit 2.0 mix as one of my team members but he and Point Man looked too similar it was ironic.

 

 

 

It's bizarre how similar their combat suits are in these photos.
