Maybe your dad got caught or a cop ran your plate.

If he was driving and an Officer ran his plates and it came up that the registered owner did not have insurance on the vehicle the Officer would've pulled him over, cited him and towed his car.

 

Just call the court clerk to verify. They really can and will help you.

I told him exactly how to do that yesterday, 98% of county courts now have online dockets now to where you just search your local county courts clerk of courts type in your name or case # and if there is something it'll appear

Also, you're being scammed or pranked or some sh*t. That letter sounds like some bull crap my mother would rip up and toss in the bin.

 

 

You'd be a fool be intimidated by this, let alone believe it.

This sounds as bogus as those fake IRS calls.

 

You can't be that stupid, The paper isn't asking him for any money or personal information, It's telling him he has a court date a fake letter wouldn't do that they would call you which counties HAVE DONE to let you know but will never ask for your personal info because they already have it nor will they ask for money, You're mom would be stupid as f*ck to rip up something like that without verifying if it was legit with the clerk of courts which is very easy to do and i have a feeling she isn't as stupid as you are I'd tear it up and forget about it doing that is a one way ticket to a bench warrant for failure to appear where you WILL be arrested and taken to jail where you will sit with NO BAIL until you see the judge who will decide if you'll show up for your next hearing if he doesn't think you will he will remand you WITHOUT BAIL and you'll sit there until your original case is completed and then you'll have the failure to appear charge to answer too and in the end you'll have several thousand in fines and court cost and most likely probation and/or jail time with probation.

 

Think LONG and hard before you rip up something that could be from the county courts

Thanks so much for this post, I tried to use the website but as i said its outdated and the number shows no results.

 

However my father did call the court or something and all he could find out it was something traffic related but was unable to get any real details. Will update when its time to go to court just sh*ts and lulz.

Yea...seems to me if your story is legit you are screwed since then it does seem they caught you driving without the right papers.

Yeah im going to have to call, the county website is trash, they still have information and court dates from 2016 and 2015 and links that all take you to the same page.

In Georgia you can only look up traffic online, everything else you have to go to the court.

Ok so as promised I'm updating....turns out the paper was for me. Apparently it's from when I drove with a bad tag for one day got pulled over and found out my license was suspended for not paying a traffic violation.(I drove unknowingly for 3 months with a bad license ). I apparently pled not guilty and now there going to take me to court for some sh*t that is 2 years old what a bitch

 

Not sure why I pled not guilty other then maybe because I was never notified i had a bad license.(do they notify you of these things?)

 

So not to serious but I'm sure if in found guilty they are gonna want some Cash which I don't feel like giving the f*cking government.

 

I already had to pay hundreds to get my license and registration and vehicle back after that bullsh*t, not understand why they still are coming after me.

The system sucks. Once you get caught up in it its hell to get out. I dot my i's an cross me t's at dmv an keep my car in legal order so thry cant f*ck with me unless im speeding. I used to be like you, learned the hardway, paying hella fines an gettin a 2nd job, slangin dope, to get right with the system. Dont sink the ship you built to keep afloat. $$$ is power. $$$ is errything.
