new Insurgent pickup

I have this and im a lone wolf but for the life of me I cannot get into the rear seats to access the gun, I have tried dozens of times by going to the back doors and pressing triangle (PS4) quickly, slowly and extended but my character always climbs into the front ive tried at different distance along the veh and away from vehicle and its front only or if too close to the rear he jumps up into the extreme rear seats.

You're not in the right place then.

 

As far as I know, the Turreted Limo's gun and the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom's gun can only be accessed from the roof. Holding the "enter vehicle" button doesn't work with these like it did normally, you have to actually get your character in place to open the hatch themselves.
