the p2p nature of gtao makes it easy to obtain ip addreses from those in the session with software you can get for free.

 

even with proxy on ?

it can get the ip of the proxy for sure, if the console can receive a "request", it ip can be traced.

 

with the program i have used, simple stuff like answering a text message make your ip pop up.

Yeah you're right about that, but here are also some ISPs which give you one IP and will give you the same one again if you unplug and replug your router. These ISPs you have to call to get another IP, but IP changes are free of charge around here of you aren't a business user and even then they will change it for free if you're getting DDOSed.

I see, now that you mention it we do have some people in common between both crews. Maybe I should remove that people, even if that means losing some friends. If I knew this 4 years ago then I wouldn't make that stupid crew... It completely destroyed my GTAO experience. And it's sad now knowing how vulnerable you can be just because of some silly fights. They take the game way too serious like if it's something related to real life.

 

I have had somebody, and their friends, report me on xbox (I got a comms ban), left comments and negative reviews on my channels FB page, and then went to my YT and downvoted 20+ videos, leaving stupid comments.

Why? Because me and a buddy where working on something in a lobby and he jumped in a jet, head straight for us, so we kicked him.

Some people have no life outside of the internet and view actions against their character as "real life" attacks/threats.

 

 

Well that's more or less the way they always try to attack me. Though the only difference is that we include "hacks" in it. Funny thing, I even talked to the attackers, and boy if you could hear them you would be like "Good lord I would be so happy to slap your face!"

 

They are always like: "Haha, Ninja get ready, nothing works against us, and my crew is the best crew ever, I have more than 3 IPs and multiple accounts you suck at this game, we will follow you everytime you and your friends play in a lobby. And we just uploaded our RIPs in our 50 subs YT account! hahaha you're humilliated!" and trash like that... they didn't sound like kids either (perhaps between 20-30 years old, just some weirdos from a very useless crew).

 

But I still couldn't understand how they kicked me from the session. The screen was showing me that my connection died, and it went back to normal after 5 mins. How? I don't know. Some of my friends stated that it might be some app/program to mess your IP up by finding your ID (PSN user) first. (And that's how the "IP hacking" thing started, when they decided to kick me out from the lobby, right after we kicked their butts...).

They're blowhards as well as tryhards. You can't see another players IP on PS4. There are no mod kits available (thus the lack of modders in open lobbies). No one can "hack", mod or mess with another player on a PS4.

 

Want to get rid of them? Send them a message via the PSN network, be polite and rational.

 

DO NOT CURSE, INSULT OR INSTIGATE AN ARGUMENT IN ANYWAY!!

 

Just ask why they are following and greifing you and also ask if they would please stop doing so. If they respond with any sort of negative reply, use insults, curse words, etc, report them via PSN as that is a clear violation of the PSN Terms Of Service.

 

R* may not care anymore, but Sony takes this sh*t very seriously. If they get enough reports for a player, that account will be banned meaning not only can they not play GTA online, they wont be able to play ANY game online.

Just leave them man, there are lots of players like that, just go passive mod if you want to play in public lobbies or set the mtu to 600 - 700 if you wanted to grind mc and bunker sell, the cheater reports happens everyday, and R* didn't ban you quickly, first of all they track your gameplay for a couple of months, if they found something "suspicious" that's when they ban you, if R* found nothing "suspicious" they can't ban you man, oh and other tips if there are other players that challenge you into some PvP or something just ignore them, it will save your money and time, passive in public lobbies and mtu tricks for grinding should do it, that's how i play

the in-game report only adds bad sport point (then again , BS points usually resets)

i suppose 4 of them reported you to point your character's status went from "Clean" to "Dodgy"

if this happens, you'll easily got into bad sport status. this can be mitigated by having friends commend on you till you're back at "clean"

Playing a videogame like if I'm running away from a criminal? Sure but I have other issues, is not that easy, these stalkers have friends in common with my crew now that I check it, and some of them don't even show the amount of friends, so I don't know who should I kick. I can kick the visible ones so they don't join anymore, but knowing how persistent they are, I'm pretty sure they can simply use another account to find us. (I wonder what happens if you block those guys on PSN and Social Club? probably nothing knowing how weak the security is in both the game and PlayStation Network...).

And then they might upload like 3 or 4 videos about me being a coward or something.

 

I wish I could leave them, it's the first thing I tried. I'm probably getting rid of them and never playing this game again.

Man, they even wanted to record my voice so they have "proof" to report me to R*, like, really? it's ridiculous!

The only thing I can do for now is kicking my own friends from the crew, they still can join us through mutual friends like Spadge said. Only thing, the ones not showing mutual friends are the only problem that worries me. What a mess.

If it were me Id just waste their time by being idle. They obviously wait until you are online to hassle you so go online and sit in your apartment watching TV and then go do some IRL stuff. Do this whenever you can. It may take a week of you doing nothing before they get bored and move on to a different person to bully. Even better if you have stuff to research in the bunker. Just buy supplies, set staff to research only, unregister as CEO (to cut costs) and stare at the security monitors while you are AFK. At least is not wasted game time.

It really doesn't bother me, sure I've gotten a few threats from immature players, however I've always taken a picture of the messages. That way IF something happens such as my GTA account modded or hacked, I've got something to show Sony (Microsoft in my case). If something goes as far as messing with my network, I'll contact my ISP about it, whom take such issues as seriously, if not more so than Sony & Microsoft.

Yeah from now on it's better to play silently if you know what I mean. All this wouldn't even happen if only Rockstar could add SecuroServ supply/warehouse or bunker jobs to Invite-only lobbies. Everything started because my friends were fighting each other, we had bad encounters, and we also found our rival crew (the stalkers) a lot of internal fights were also messing my crew up so some of my friends are in that rival crew now sadly. There's a very weird mixture between both crews, a rivalry that doesn't seem to end that easily. So like I said before, it's not that easy to get rid of them. (Maybe now a lot of you guys will understand the situation now).

 

I'll take everyone's advices as well. Because thanks to you guys I learned a lot in a very short amount of time. Oh, also, I don't have promoted members in my crew, just the representatives, so I'm the only one dealing with all the stress. That's why I came to post this here. Besides the crew, I've been literally alone in the mess they caused. For now, we didn't had much trouble, we fought them, playing the same way they play, using skills of any type to take them down, and now they recognized my crew isn't going to go down, so they stopped for a few moments.

 

And phew I barely knew about the tracked account warning thing, I was scared at first haha I feel bad for asking about that.

I didn't know how they were playing (the way I just described). Good thing I did realize that they play because of that, because they find ways to "humilliate" you. And I never was into this killing stuff because I prefer playing with friends, helping with heists and such so my ignorance is pretty much noticeable.

Don't worry about him, he's being an illiterate c*nt. You can call the police about being hacked.. I wouldn't because I play dirty like them.. but only when it's done to me. It's not hard to boot people offline and find their IP. Just a laptop and a cellphone app, and whoala you can boot away
