Femme Fatale
THUG 2. I know story mode is really short, but I still love it. It also has my favorite soundtrack out of all the TH games. I also like THAW. But like I said in that one thread, it's major flaw is that they included sh*tty covers of awesome songs, instead of the originals. Matrelith
Pro Skater 3 for me. Best soundtrack, really cool levels, plus you had Darth Maul as one of the secret characters. Also, those behind-the-scenes skits were hilarious.

Matrelith
You can unlock secret characters by getting gold medals and completing all the goals. You have to do this with up to twenty-one characters to unlock them all. You can unlock Darth Maul, Wolverine, a Demoness, Ollie the Magic Street Bum, the Neversoft Eyeball guy and a few more characters that way. The last secret character (Doom guy from DOOM can only be unlocked with a cheat). You can also just use cheats to unlock the other characters if you can't be bothered. The Time Ranger
My favourite would be THUG. Pro Skater 3 was fun too but the story mode and more diverse levels made THUG my favourite.Edit- the above post reminded me of playing as Iron Man in THUG. The character creation and create your board were cool features too. Now to find somewhere that sells THUG 2 Edited August 4, 2017 by Neon_Dreaming chronic lumbago
chronic lumbago
f*ck! f*cking sh*t f*ck! Guys, I've been writing an essay for 40 minutes, ranking my games in detail from best to worst but my sh*tty ass bullsh*t phone decided to update itself without my permission. I'm f*cking pissed off, I put so much love in my post and now it's all f*cking gone. Damnit! So sorry for this half assed list, I just can't write it all over again. In case you wonder why THPS + THPS3 are so low on that list is because I've played them much, much later and I simply don't connect to them as I do with others. Been playing the series basically all my live, even today. Still got most of these games. Used to have almost all of them on PS2 but I sold it and rebought then on the 360 a while back. THUG and THUG2 play great with backwards compatibility. 1. THUG 2. THUG2 3. THPS2 4. THPS4 5. THAW 6. THPG 7. THP8 8. THDJ (Downhill Jam) 9. THPS3 10. THPS -- 11. THPS HD 12. SHRED/OTHER PLASTIC BOARD sh*t 13. THPS5 aka f*ck you fans, give us money before our contract with Tony Hawk expires My dream game would be a THUG3. I'll also recommend checking out THUG2 Pro on PC. It's a mod that includes most Tont Hawk levels and puts them into THUG2 and has (had?) a decent online community. Still fun to just freeskate alone in old levels on the THUG2 engine. Algonquin Assassin
I haven't played a Tony Hawk game in years, but I always liked the Pro Skater series. Pro Skater 3 especially. I remember spending hours and hours messing around with the skate park editor. Awesome times. And I've never ridden a skate board in my life. Well where I haven't fallen on my ass trying it lol. t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m
THPS Pro Skater series is what I grew up with, and personally THPS2 was my favorite - School II will always be the best map. I think Underground was the last good one - I had a lot of fun with it, and enjoyed the blood and broken skateboard effects as well as the missions. THPSHD and THPS5 were the worst installments. THPSHD didn't feel like a Tony Hawk game, and the physics engine was a buggy mess that left me clipping through the map half of the time. It was only $20 if I remember correctly, so I wasn't too steamed about it. When THPS5 came out, I was hoping for a good end to the series, but it was just as bad as HD if not worse. The physics issues were still present, the maps felt generic, riding around felt sluggish (I preferred the "arcade" style skating that the original games had), and the multiplayer was a f*cking meme. I felt ripped off when I bought it. At least the series can rest in peace, for now at least.
Zuck_A_D1ck
Oh yeah, the level of THPS2 was so good...School,Warehouse...i love that level!!! And,Los Angeles,Canada,Tokyo!!i very very love that level in THPS3... THPS4 was the bad one for me...but the level is good!! THDJ was the good one...but i hate the downhill...i'm crash, crash, and crash again..but with good training, may i can good!! THAW!!open-world in any platform!!I love that series!!and i love Mall!!oh yeah, also Mandy SkatePark(i forgot the name)!!
chronic lumbago
THPS5 is worse than HD in almost every way. The customization was better but not much else. HD at least made me nostalgic and PS5 made me furious. It felt more like a cheap, low effort ripoff than a Tony Hawk game. I've read sooooooo many bad reviews about the game and haven't bought it until it was discounted and I couldn't resist. A new TH game after all, it can't be that bad right? Everyone's overreacting! Boy, I was wrong. It's a complete mess and I hated it. Your skater skates with a stick up his ass, that's how the gameplay feels. The fluid gameplay that made the series was gone. And how in god's name can the game run worse than a PS1 game? It's a PS4 game with early PS3 graphics and tiny levels and it can't even run like a normal game. Then they removed 80% of the tricks, no flatland, no double/triple flips, no advanced grabs, no nothing. Even specials got replaced by some stupid retarded mechanic. I have to admit, I enjoyed it maaaybe a tiny bit, but not as a Tony Hawk game. I still managed to pull my combos when I got used to it so I had a little fun when I pushed my hatred and rage aside for two seconds. It felt like some sort of fan project. 2/10 from me. THPSHD also felt a bit different but I actually enjoyed it. I have no idea how they could screw the gameplay up so bad later. The foundation they had was okay, a bit stiff but okay. Instead of improving it they made it 10 times worse.
