Why heists and ceo crates are excellent for starters (with a small story)

(A story to show you why I love crates)

Not even 1 week ago, I had about 500,000$ in Grand Theft Auto V, from grinding missions in a playlist (which didn't help at all only got me 80k) and grinding heists I managed to get 500,000$ to Humane Labs (i had 500,000k before humane labs and I finished all the setups so there was only the finale to finish) I

played and finished it and got the 55% cut (371k cut I think) with everyone else getting 15% which is pretty decent, I had my armored Kurama which I got from when it was on sale for 200k i think like 1 year ago. I sold it for 199,000k which is pretty low and was probably a scam, in total I reached a million.

Bought my office and had 2k. I then discovered from this forum that there are better ways than stupid Simeon missions to get cash, it was VIP missions! Sightseer was my go to because simply it was pretty easy and I can't afford a Buzzard which makes headhunter hard. I got myself 250k and bought the cheapest warehouse and then I started the crates, bought 2 crates then sold em for more, bought 3 crates with that money and sold them for about 36 thousand and I kept doing that until I filled my first warehouse which got me 240k, with VIP missions in between I managed to fill my small warehouse 2 times each day, not even yesterday I got a medium warehouse which is close to 900k and is super close to my office. I already made a profit of 1 million! That's almost breaking even in a week.

(I did it in a solo public session btw)

(END OF STORY)

If you simply start from Fleeca Bank to Series A Funding ending you will gain about 1 million and some extra cash sprinkled in there (do it hard because the payouts are better) If you buy the cheapest office and cheapest warehouse which is only 1.59 miles far from each other you could break even in a week! I play regularly once per day for 4 hours and it was great easy. Additionally after Humane Labs if you have some sort of expensive vehicle it would be worth it to sell it as you could probably buy it back in barely 3 days. If you don't have anything expensive just finish Series A Funding and it will be fine!

Q. But, what if I have nobody to play with in heists???

A. I'm being honest, just stay in the lobby for more than 5 minutes and you will be blessed! Patience is best, I finished all the humane lab setups in a day with randoms and I got a full lobby in about 8 minutes (prison break took me about 3 months to finish no one joins the second Bus setup). Use your phone just do anything and people will join (Especially if you play on PS4)

Q. I hate the NPCs they are too OP and crates don't provide a lot of money.

A. NPCs are fine in trucks and boats (boat is very easy as the boat has a lot of armor, so if they find a way to shoot you just turn the boat a little bit to one side and its gonna take time before they find another position to shoot you. And if they do just go the opposite direction. Trucks are extremely easy as they don't actually steal loot if you're attacked and you have to defend the drop-off, they just try and follow you and kill you. (Basically like a gang attack) Planes are pretty hard, without armor in a Cuban I managed to get to the last checkpoint with one of my propellor burning (against 4 Valkyries) but it's better to just change session and lose 3 crates instead of losing it all to some Merryweather dicks with Valkyries or buzzards. (you could also kamikaze the buzzards or Valkyries WITH the plane armor and you should be fine without even smoke, but you stall after that I think so do it high in the sky, but here's a disclaimer if you die doing that it's not my fault :c)

Crates provide pretty decent money as you can break even in a week if you bought everything cheap. It's a long term investment but oh boy is that investment worth it, people may not agree with me but again if you buy everything cheap it's almost a short term investment instead as you could gain more way more money than where you started at. After you are done raking the money in you just bail when you're comfortable enough with how much money you got then you do it all again when you're broke.

THIS WALL OF TEXT WAS WRITTEN AT 2:27 AM I LITERALLY HAVE NOTHING TO DO RIGHT NOW :c

Just use the find players forum to get quality Heist partners. Also land the delivery plane as soon as you see enemy choppers and attack them, or scout ahead (preferably in something armed) before you start your delivery. Buzzards spawn at several helipads, or you can "rent" one as CEO if you can't afford to buy one outright. You can shoot from the wheelhouse on the Tug, or stop and walk out to use heavier weapons against the helicopters. Not really a very useful guide, but whatever works for you I guess.

You know what? I agree with you that crates are still great. Yesterday I sold 2 full large warehouses, which I'd stocked all by myself, and sold them all by myself, for $4.4million. Swapping between warehouses for each resupply means I can do most missions in 5-6 minutes. So that's around 30 crates per hour. Need 222 to get the full sale value, which takes about 7.5hours at 30 per hour (You don't need to do all 7.5hours in ONE DAY).

But when you look at your profit per hour, it's pretty damn good. You buy 3 crates @ $18k. That's $6k each. To fill 2 large warehouses takes 222 crates which is $1,308,000 upfront. Take that off the final sales value of $4,440,000 and you get a final profit of $3,108,000. Considering that's for 7.5 hours work, it works out at $420,000 profit per hour. (The only problem then is delivery, but you can either solo-public it or get some people that you know can get the job done... possibly some people from your heists).

Like I said though, I wouldn't recommend doing JUST crates though over 7.5 hours. It'd be so tedious. Get yourself a vehicle warehouse, get one of each car, then every time you sell a high end, your next sourcing mission will be a high end. (You can sell one every 20 minutes, so that's $240k an hour).

CEO missions are always good for money. Sightseer and Headhunter are always faves.

And you can't forget G/R selling at 20% stock (One full resupply costs $75k, but can give up to $140k of product depending on your upgrades, which sell for $210k to Los Santos). Heck, even the Coke business can give you a good return over time.

Depends on what you really wanna do, but if I want to seriously make money, even with all the fancy "do this first, then do this, then do this" guides on here, I've never made more money than with "Sell car, source car, buy crates, buy crates, repeat" then selling G/R every 2hr 20mins (Takes 140mins to reach 20% stock when fully upgraded).

Crates were and I think are most profitable per hour but too Damon grindesque for my liking at this point but look below and you'll see why I say that. Income per biz

Crates: 46.5m

Coke Biz: 9m

Import/Exp: 15m (mostly doing it when on bonus)

GunRunning: 18m

I suspect that I will eventually surpass the crate numbers with gunrunning. Btw, 98% of the earnings above were solo'ed. If I can do it, u can too but you need the right tools first.
