A B&M, maybe, but the lighting in the MOC is sh*t and I'm constantly having to redo paintwork to make it look right outside of a tiny lorry.

Well played, r*

Custom Insurgent Pick-Up! Finally!

Can you store any of your Pegasus Insurgents in the bunker? That would be the only practical reason to get the bunker and use those MOC upgrades

Going to try and keep to the positives as much as possible here:

The Pegasus Insurgent is a whopping 1.35 million dollars, but once you've bought it (I already owned it btw) you can then 'convert' that vehicle as many times as you want into a personalised and customisable Insurgent for around 200k. And you still have a weaponised Insurgent in your Pegasus list if you need it. So you essentially have two for the price of one + 200k upgrade fee.

The customisable Insurgent has a turret on the top that can be converted to a minigun, absolutely devastating, and can take maybe 20 rockets from a Buzzard or Oppressor.

It also lays unlimited mines, can carry up to nine people, and the driver can still shoot through the window.

It's also fast, and an absolute beast.

The only negative thing is the lack of driver projectiles. Obviously done on purpose to limit its impact. You can't ram and sticky, for example. But with the mines, hey.

I already had a 'heavy' garage before Gunrunning was released, but now I've got a customisable Insurgent, Half-Track and APC to add to that - it looks like a beautiful behemoth of military destruction.

Just trying to keep to the positives here, as GTA online is turning into (has already become?) a military simulator, so better get big and brash or pootle around feemode in passive-mode.

A new, customizable Insurgent Pick-Up is great, but another Adversary Mode? When will R* realize that its always going to get ignored?

Theres no new adv mode, just continued bonus on the last one.

Yep, happened to me in the APC last night. Got someone to blow it up but even then I couldn't move my character, join a job, or use interaction menu. Was also indestructible. I think it has something to do with how they make your vehicle indestructible when you come out of oayn sprays etc. Idk.

Bright side is its not just me.

btw I had a bounty 3 hunters on my tail, when was froze coming out MOC, and them bounty hunters surrounded CIP....mines still worked 😎

Love them mines

So since people will at least go and buy this thing, how powerful is the minigun compared to the stock gun ?

Like really, does it goes noticable faster to blow up like a regular car by shooting the engine at the front ?

And what about the range ?

The minigun is much more devastating than the .50 cal. Blows up cars much faster and with more ease. The range isn't as good as the .50 cal though.

The proximity mine upgrade is the best thing that ever happened to the insurgent.

So is the regular, unarmed insurgent now completely obsolete? The pickup custom can carry more people, has more customization options, has a mounted turret in the back, can be even modified to have an infinite supply of prox mines and it can be stored in your garage just like the unarmed insurgent. The only two real benefits that the regular insurgent has are its cheaper price and the fact that you don't need a moc to modify it

The fully upgraded pickup custom (with armor plates) provide extra protection but won't allow the driver to shoot from it (like with the APC). I would keep both insurgents for various situations.

Love my new pickup.

Only fault I can list is one of my own doing, trying to beep at friends and accidentally blowing them up.

Running the Insurgent Custom in a supporting role alongside a weaponized MOC was quite a blast last night.

Handsome Jack

This event week is decent. The MOC missions gave A LOT of RP, The APC and Tampa one specifically, 7k for the APC and 6k RP for the Tampa mission. And the payment is decent although I wish it was a bit more like $40k or $50k. $30k should've been the MOC normal payment. Anyways, I like this week.

Meh, I will pass this.

Waiting for the XA21 and the Ardent

It depends on your outlook. As I already owned both the store-able Insurgent and the Pegasus Insurgent, this upgrade was a natural step to me - the chance to combine them both and add some new features and interesting liveries, and also store it. Then again, if you don't own either of the Insurgents in the first place, and then have to pay 1.35 M + 200k upgrade, plus add-ons, plus research, etc... yeah, I can see how this doesn't seem very attractive.

$30,000-$35,000 per run of offshore assets as the 3rd/4th player, just hopping into one of the APC rear compartments & afk while the gunning & driver complete the mission. Easiest freakin money short of afk'n Fortified for $35,000, only the MOC mission can be done quicker/feels like it. Same with that Cover Blown MOC mission, riding in the trailer as another player simply drives the MOC, although it pays less.

BTW, for those that have gotten the Insurgent Pickup Custom, you can actually go through the tunnels with it in the MOC mission Data Breach.

Even with the lowest suspension, you can clear over or in some cases squeeze by the random blocks & barricades.

I have both Pegasus Insurgent pickup and PV Insurgent, yet I'm not interested in pickup up with new variant, I only got 1.7m right now, not gonna waste money on vehicles I don't enjoy.

Though, maybe I could sell my PV Insurgent and get this one, I will check if it's worth.

I checked it out, it was worth it.

Got 525k on the Insurgent sale, then upgraded the pickup for 205k, leaving with 320k.

After some of that money spent upgrades, I have about 250k left, all of that made my overall bank balance reach 2 million

Profit ;)

Also, you can blow up Opressors by driving over then with this thing and not get charged insurance :)

They have to touch down eventually lol. Pretty funny how R* releases the Oppressor in the same update as explosive rounds and a bunch of AA stuff...

I just saw somebody who was flying around park for a moment so I rammed them full force and blew them up for the lulz fully expecting a payment. Only I was never charged

Lucky. I couldn't do ANYTHING at all so I left the server mainly because I was afraid of getting reported for hax due to me being invincible lol.

I am in love with the Insurgent Pick-Up custom. The low upgrade cost and all extras (minus the mini-gun which is yet to unlock via research) set Me back about 500K. Sold my stock Insurgent and made back 500K. So I now have an upgraded Insurgent with mounted gun, seating for 8 and the ability to take so many explosive rounds that it borders on insanity and it basically costs me nothing?

Best deal of the DLC to date.

Question can I put my Pegasus insurgent into the MOC to turn it into a custom variant therefore turning it into a personal vehicle for my garage or do I have to buy a separate one??

Nope, you have the right idea.
