universetwisters
So something's been bugging me after watching a few mission videos of IV that I haven't thought of and probably nobody else have, where did Dmitri live? He's never mentioned to have any residence anywhere. I always thought he stayed with Mikhail but he pretty much tells him to get out of his house in "Rigged to Blow" so I dunno. It's an interesting thing to think about, at least. He doesn't seem too poor or thuggish to live in a sh*tty apartment like Roman's in Hove Beach, but is he really well off to afford a mansion like Mikhail's? And even then, would he live in a mansion or some other very conspicuous place knowing Niko wants him dead? I dunno. What do you guys think about the issue? gooeyhole
Constantly on the move is my best guess. Russian mob gets mentioned by the news a lot and Dimitri is always cutting deals all over the place. Clean safe houses, hotel rooms, stuff like that. He does seem like a guy that needs a place to unwind and be alone though. I could see him owning a Bulgarin tier place. Edited July 31, 2017 by Mr_Rager Eugene H. SabreGT
I don't know, but if Faustin was calm like him, Rascalov would be living in a prison camp in Siberia. Stevenslender123 and theGTAking101

AuSsIeThUnDeR36
He lived in Faustin's basement because his f**king wife is watching television. Gummyβ, UncleSal, universetwisters and 3 others
The Time Ranger
Liberty City is a big place and Niko is only one man, plenty of places to go and lay low if he has the cash. For all we know there could have been periods where he was living outside LC, just coming back to do business before leaving again, it would make sense from a safety standpoint. Who knows who else he was screwing over. Edited July 31, 2017 by Neon_Dreaming Payne Killer
DOUGL4S1
That was probably done because if Niko knew where he lived, the first thing he'd do would be to explode his house. But as people said, he either keeps on the move or lives at an unconspicuous place, like a small house or appartment.

Algonquin Assassin
After the crew deserted the Platypus maybe he seeked refuge there (As he holds up in Revenge). PabloB
Maybe he has a place inside of a sex shop. Sometimes sexual deviants live in such places. Mikhail did mention something about men suffering.
AuSsIeThUnDeR36
Well Derrick was living on a park bench in an old park surrounded by trash so if that's any indication, Dimitri was similar. I stand by my theory he lived in Faustin's basement.
Luke Ferris
Given the size of Faustin's mansion, I imagine Dimitri, his second in command, lived on the premises. Dimitri strikes me as a cheapskate, so he probably lived rent free. theGTAking101

ChumCrumpet
He probably lived in some sh*tbox apartment near Hove Beach. Dimitri was a total rat, so it wouldn't surprise me if he moved several times over the course of the game to keep people off his trail.
