CRRPGMykael
REMINDER: TEST VERSION, 0.1 OR W/E If you think the 16x16 original icons are too tiny, but the mobile version icons are too goofy looking stylistically, this mod is for you. Lore accuracy and a "90's look", fonts and original aesthetic were all taken into account. Size is 64x64 (same as mobile). Original= PS2 icons, of course, not the broken PC port ones. Enlarged from 16x16 to 64x64. Here's a comparison between the 3 (Original, Mobile, Remaster): I took some liberties with things I thought would be appropriate, like the Emmett blip, for example. REMINDER: I barely tested these because I don't wanna go through the entire game and my monitor won't allow for it anyway. I'm still unhappy with a bunch of these and I just wanted to get this out for some feedback. hud.txd is based on the mobile file, so the non-blip files are mobile quality. Use with modloader or manually replace hud.txd in the 'models' folder. DOWNLOAD In-game pics at 1600x900 (icon size allows for resolutions way higher) Edited July 29, 2017 by CRRPGMykael MKKJ, _Æ_, jaqub and 12 others
LaDiDa
Might want to rework the anchor, its edges are very jagged in comparison with the smooth edges of the rest, looks very accurate yet better then mobile ones Vishnuka

MKKJ
Good one. I suggest to add black outline for safehouse icon. It kinda looks off with some part of map, like grass area.
Ash_735
I really like how these are looking, but some advice: - Four Dragons Casino ones, try and use the icon of the actual promo chips instead for added detail and lore... - Burger Shot, I like what you've done with Cluckin' Bell and Well Stacked Pizza by using their logo art, same could be done for Burger Shot (it seems to be HD era styled now)... - Zero icon seems like a good idea, but considering most call him Z, Zero, etc, it'd be better to use the Z - Hospital Icon seems too detailed compared to everything else on show, maybe best to leave it as a red cross (funnily enough this is illegal now too) - Ammun-Nation/Emmet Icons, the guns seems to elongated looks like it has an extended clip instead of normal size, also for Emmet, I appreciate what you've done but you could also use this time to make the gun more different, make it silver with a brown grip, so they clearly stand out from each other, like the Beretta textures from VCS: - Save Icon, yeah I agree, you can either change it back to black (though I like the idea of you matching the ingame model) or just add a faint black outline to it, doesn't have to be as thick as the rest, just enough to make it stand out Hope you consider this good feedback, I really like the styling here of these. vizs, Jestic, Flucado and 1 other

I played around with the 'chip' motif, but the irl and in-game chips are so different; on top of that I didn't wanna confuse people, so I went with the original aesthetic. -Burger: I tried doing that as well. You can get a Clucking Bell vector image from the manual pdf, and the pizza one happens to look the same in the HD era. As for the burger joint, I couldn't find anything to work with. Below is what I had. That last pic of the burger you posted might help. -Zero: Just experimenting : p -Hospital: The white thing on the hospital icon just turned out looking cool even tho I barely put any effort into it, so I kept it. As far as "illegal", well, it's the 90's, but sure, I've been thinking of offering 'alternate' icons for those who want them. -Ammunation: I think I backtraced a Vietnam standard issue 1911 and then extended it vertically (just a tiny bit); wouldn't want so much empty space, and the other ammunation icons are already so cartoonishly proportioned that it looks alright. -Save: This was the first icon that I did, and I noticed it didn't have a black outline like the rest, so I just went with it, which allowed me to add some extra detail (which is still incredibly lost unless you're playing at like 4K). Based on real-life floppies more than the in-game model tbh. Edited October 6, 2017 by CRRPGMykael Ash_735
