OpenIV crashes when exiting edited vehshare.wtd

Since there is no other means of editing a vehshare directory without it being in vehicles.img, I have to use OpenIV. But in one of the updates, editing a vehshare.wtd and closing it causes OpenIV to crash. Since I can't find any official feedback thread, I'm posting here, so is there any way to fix this? Because if I can't, I can't edit a number plate pack.
