How do you feel or think about in-game name of your car in reality?

I always call Smart Cars Pantos.

I see a lot of exotics and cars that are parodied in GTA itself. Surprisingly the GTA counterpart rarely comes to mind for me.

Ive played too many racing games in my life to call cars by the wrong name.

 

The only time I've ever confused the real name for something in the real world for the name of it in video games were Chuck Taylor's, I called them "Buck Turner's" once (from TF2)

I'm in the planning stages of setting up a class now. No worries I will have you all in tune with your bleak real existence in no time.

 

 

OT: For real though I have seen plenty of people call the in game cars, real life cars. Calling the Adder a Bugatti, etc.

Not so much the other way around though, but then again, I don't have any real life friends that are addicted to GTA like we all are.

I once referred to a Pave Low as a Cargobob... kind of strange, since most people would probably compare it to a Chinook instead

Once in awhile I will, that is if I can remember the GTA name.

 

There are also times I wish I could drive on the sidewalk, to avoid traffic.

Because those in-game names are better, more funny, or sometimes more accurate to describe the car. It's just my opinion.

 

Panto vs Smart for example. "Smart" distorted the fact that, that small toy is hilarious and it looks like designed for children. "Panto" reveals the truth.

I do the exact opposite. I have a habit of referring to GTA cars by their real life base models. I don't know how many times I've passed by a Dilettante and thought "Hey look it's a Prius!".

 

The only time I've ever referred to a real life car by it's GTA name was last week when I spotted a Smart Car pulling into my local McDonald's. I accidentally called it a Panto somehow.

In the other way around, I always slip up & call my Baller LE an SVR, Cognoscenti a Maybach & Khamelion a Fisker. Other than that, I keep the rest separated.

Obviously photoshopped but not bad.

 

 

Rarely do this myself though.. I've always been into cars but sometimes I'll forget which series a BMW is or something.

 

Least when I call a BMX, a BMX, I'm not wrong. I can usually spot who makes the bike before actually seeing logos and sh*t on it though.
